I wasn't worried about Tara. She isn't pregnant by me. But now, I need to ease Harmony's mind. That little confrontation has completely thrown off her energy.

"Your life is too chaotic for me."

Her voice was soft and somber. I looked over at her, noticing her eyes were now closed. A smile formed on my face while I looked forward.

"Chaotic or not...you're not going anywhere."

I pulled up to my estate, waiting for the gate to open. My phone was going off...it was my mother.

I love her, but she is a very toxic woman. I try to keep my distance as much as possible.

"Yes, Lorraine."

"Hello, son. How have you been?"

"I've been well and yourself?"

"I'm wonderful, but I feel left out about your break up with Tara. What happened?"

I pulled in front of my home while the gate closed. I parked as Harmony continued sleeping.

"We've moved on."

"Really...what is this I'm hearing that I'm expecting a grandchild."

"Not by me."

"How are you sure?"

"I am very intentional when it comes to sex and I don't have slip ups."

"I don't see why someone like Tara would need to lie about carrying your child, Rowan."

I chuckled. "You'd be surprised."

"I would be disappointed if she isn't. You two look good together, and Tara comes from a very well established family."

Well established meant wealth for my mother, and that is all she was concerned about.

This is the same woman who hated that I left my engineering career to be a tattoo artist/musician but loved the money I began making. The more famous I became, the more attention she showed me.

"You'll be fine, mother. I need to go."

"Wait, who is this girl I've been seeing you with in the news? Is she who you left Tara for?"

"Good night, Lorraine."

I hung up, then admired how beautiful Harmony was. Not wanting to wake her, I summoned her presence into my bedroom. While she faded away from my passenger seat, I got out of the car and walked into my home.

My aquarium was the only light illuminating my living area. I walked up the stairs with the sweet smell of Harmony's scent coming my way.

I sent my pulse to her body, hoping it would wake her up now. As I walked down the hallway, I removed my suit jacket.

At the end of the hall, my bedroom's double doors were wide open. I could see Harmony sitting up in my king-size bed, playing with herself.

I smiled as she opened her eyes and stared at me.

"Are you ready for me, baby?" I tossed my jacket on a chair.

She gave me a nod while she bit her bottom lip.

I woke up in a bed that's not mine, and when I felt the sensation vibrate through my body, I knew where I was.

My date with Rowan, for the most part, was great. I would be lying if I said I wanted the night to end.

The lust exploding between my legs caused me to take action. I needed to relieve myself, and I was in bed alone.
