CONFUSION

Happy was an understatement when I saw Harmony's beautiful face. It was a surprise seeing her standing to the side of the stage. She was such a light, and I craved her presence.

The next few songs were heavy hitting just as the first. Crowd participation never disappointed, and I could tell my band brothers were having just as much fun as I was.

Dark entities roamed amongst the crowd and the side of the stage. The music was a magnet for their kind.

Once the last song for our set was over, we all were sweating with smiles on our faces. We walked off the stage while everyone waited for us in the dressing room.

We walked off down the hall, still full of adrenaline. I knew the guys were going to party after this. My first priority was getting to Harmony. Hopefully, she'll join me in the shower.

"Hell yeah! I love this shit!" Brock hit his drumsticks together.

Loud applause met us once we opened the door. Thankfully, I didn't see Tara, but Harmony wasn't there either.

"You fellas did fucking amazing," Pete spoke our praises.

I took a towel, wiping the sweat off my face and chest while my eyes scanned the room for my girl.

"Yo, Row...Y'all killed that shit."

My brother and I hugged, then he did the same with Brock and Nick.

"Amazing show, guys!"

My brother Rodney stopped enjoying himself once he saw Tara. He never took a liking to her, and I don't blame him.

She set her sights on me. I continued to watch the dark spirit that was attached to her back but then went towards my brother.

Tara stared at him nervously, then looked away.

"Harmony, what's up?!" Nick walked over to her.

Damn, she's beautiful.

I stared at her lips, then her brown eyes. Once she saw me, a pretty smile was on her face.

"Baby, y'all did awesome."

"Thank you, Bunny."

Harmony blushed at my nickname for her. She wrapped her arms around me, ignoring the sweat. I held her and softly kissed her lips. I have wanted to do that since I saw her.

"I wanna show you something."

She put her hand in mine, and we went into the bathroom. Once the door was locked, I turned on the shower. I began to undress while Harmony looked around.

"This bathroom is five-star status. I guess when you're a rockstar, it's to be expected, huh?"

"Take off your clothes, unless you want them to get wet."

She took a deep breath, staring at my naked body.

"You're not still scared of me...are you, Bunny?"

I bit my bottom lip as she took off her sundress and wedge sandals. She was only wearing panties underneath her dress. My dick was already fully erect while I walked towards her, then picked her up with my mouth on her nipple.

"Um, it's quiet so I assumed I could use the bathroom now."

Harmony looked mortified while I laughed and opened the door. Brock was standing there, cheesing hard.

Harmony was really pressing my buttons with this Rowan Vidal shit. I hit Pete up, and he told me she was at Rockfest.

Even after he almost gets robbed and allegedly gets some model chick pregnant, she's still with him.

Truth is, I thought I was okay with Harmony and I breaking up, but the more time I'm not with her, the more I miss her. And her messing with this fuckboy is only making things worse.

When we were together I had a few flings with other women, but I also calmed down a lot with Harmony. She makes me want to be a better man.

I got up to greet my childhood friend. Rollo was from the same hood I was and we did a lot of dirt together growing up.

"I'm good. Still thriving...making money. You know how it is."

"How's the family?"

I got up to pour Rollo some Henny. Once we both had a glass we toasted and drank. I sat back down, I thought about the crazy shit he did before getting locked up.

Rollo was the perfect person to handle my business on some street shit. He's loyal and doesn't fear anyone or anything...that's who I need to have my back.

"I know you've been making money and feeding your family, but I wanted to offer you a job as my security."

He grinned. "I was wondering when you were going to say something."

"I may be a little late, but I had to take care of some things first."

"Man, it's cool, Dame. Business is business. But I'm ready to take the job."

"Good, because I need a favor."

He sat forward. "Name it...I got you."

I smirked. "I need help showing someone that I mean what I say and say what I mean.."

"Alright. Who is it?"

I gave him the name, and I could see the focus in his eyes. Rowan is very adamant with being with Harmony, even after Pete tells him the seriousness of him continuing to pursue her.

"Oh, he's big time."

"Yeah, that's why I need someone thorough to handle this."

"Say no more."

I don't think Rowan understands the danger he's putting himself in, but he's about to find out.
