I FELT MY HEART STOP BEATING AT THE EXACT MOMENT BEIDOU TOLD ME HE WAS BACK IN TOWN.

Beidou left the house and Xiao sat next to me.

Xiao had a smile on his face, not realising that all these memories of mine were coming back.

I felt sick, sick to the stomach.

"Do you know Scaramouche?" Xiao asked me.

I nodded and he looked pleased, still not noticing my expression.

"Scaramouche is friends with Childe and he always comes and visits, so we hang out with him and he's a pretty cool guy," Xiao told me.

"Scaramouche is my ex."

"Wait what? His ex from Inzauma?"

"One of many."

"I'm so sorry- I didn't know." he put his arm around me and tried to make me face him.

"It's alright. I just don't want to see him, that's all." I looked back up at him.

"Is that why you and Kazuha fought?" he asked.

I nodded and looked away, thinking about the fight yesterday.

"Are you seeing the guys today?" I asked him.

"I am, I have to leave in two hours." he looked ashamed.

I nodded and got up, heading to his bedroom and fell onto the bed.

He followed and lay next to me, holding my hand out of pity.

"I'm sorry about the whole Scaramouche and Kazuha thing..."

"Don't be sorry, it doesn't matter now." I sighed.

"Can I ask how was your relationship with him?"

"We got into a relationship at a party, and it ended at a party."

"What? That's so hectic." he looked shocked.

"He admitted he used me for sex after I caught him with another girl at the party he hosted for my departure to Liyue."

"That's so fucked, what is wrong with that guy?"

"Don't know, and I don't care anymore." I chuckled.

"Well I promise you that I'll never treat you like that, that's a terrible way to treat your girlfriend." he got closer and kissed me softly.

"I have to go home soon and see Kazuha again." I groaned out of frustration.

"It was a dick move of him to bring up your ex."

"It's because he's jealous of you."

"What? How does he know? Did you tell him?" Xiao looked worried.

"He put the pieces together when he saw me wearing your jacket."

"Does he like you or something?"

"We were hooking up, and he's had major feelings for me since then," I explained.

"I don't understand how you're still considered a tourist, you sound and act like a local."

"It's because I'm from Inazuma, and also I haven't really been introduced to the party culture here." I shrugged.

"I mean I thought being friends with Beidou was enough of an introduction."

"She's too absorbed with Ningguang and looking after Kazuha." I laughed.

"Soon I'll take you to a party, and I'll make it known you're my girl," he smirked and kissed me.

"I'm already your girl Xiao." I smiled and kissed him back
