"Mingyu"

"Mmm" Mingyu groaned but didn't open his eyes.

"Mingyu" the voice was more assertive now.

"What?" Mingyu managed to force out a disgruntled response.

"Wake up we have that lunch today"

Mingyu's eyes immediately opened to see Minghao hovering over him.

"It's today!?" He jumped out of bed.

"Wow I did not think you'd be so excited" Minghao mumbled.

Mingyu pulled a grey shirt out of his closet and put on his black slacks.

"How do I look?" Mingyu asked.

"Definitely not like we just had sex" Minghao responded, looking at Mingyu up and down.

"Hao.." Mingyu smacked his arm. "That was last night"

"Mm whatever" Minghao began to text on his phone. "Let's leave in 10 minutes okay? I'll drive"

Mingyu nodded. This was the first time his friend group would be whole again. The day Wonwoo returned from America. He couldn't contain his excitement. Four years had changed him, his height had increased and his muscles had gotten bigger. His abs were more toned and surely Wonwoo would be shocked to see how big he's become. Mingyu had his fair share of dating men and women whilst Wonwoo was gone, his most recent one being his arrangement with Minghao. But he didn't really count that as dating, they were just best friends since high school... with benefits.

Minghao knew that Mingyu was Wonwoo's, that's why he never tried to make their relationship more than it was. He was fine with being friends and fucking... well at least for now.

Mingyu went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face, meticulously rearranging his hair after his skin care.

"Mingyu are you read to go?" Minghao shouted from the front door of their apartment.

"Coming!"

Mingyu's hands trembled as he tried to calm himself down.

"Dude, could you breathe a little quieter, I'm trying to parallel park" Minghao scolded him for distracting him.

"Sorry I'm just really nervous" Mingyu apologised.

Minghao finally pulled into the spot and put the car into park.

"Don't be, I'm here" Minghao smiled at him and intertwined their fingers for a bit. Mingyu smiled back at him. "Let's go"

Mingyu took a deep breath. "Okay"

Mingyu and Minghao entered the restaurant. It was beautiful with natural light flowing through the window and classical music pervading the air. Minghao spotted Joshua and Jeonghan sitting at a big table.

"Hey guys!" Minghao excitedly said.

"Oh my Hao Hao, how are you?" Jeonghan greeted him with a hug.

"I'm well! Where's everyone else?" Minghao questioned.

"You guys are quite early" Joshua chuckled. "Someone nervous?"Joshua flickered his eyes towards Mingyu.

"Shut up Shua" Mingyu playfully slapped his shoulder. "Aren't you guys excited to see him again" Mingyu deflected Joshua's question.
