"I OBJECT!"

The sound of the declaration resonated through the church and multiple gasps were made in response. Wonwoo and Junhui turned to where the objection came from both wide eyed and in shock.

There stood, in the midst of the crowd, wearing a black suit and black tie was Xu Minghao. A look of determination cast over his face.

"I can't let this marriage happen!" He stated further.

"Minghao what are you-" Mingyu stood up and began to ask but was cut off.

"Junhui I have loved you since we were 10 and am still in love with you. You can't marry him." Minghao exclaimed, approaching the altar. His eyes were teary as he looked up at Junhui. "Please. You promised this would be us."

There was an intense silence reverberating in Wonwoo's ears, the awful awkwardness suddenly broken.

"Minghao I..." Junhui looked towards Wonwoo, his face riddled with confusion. "I love you too."

More gasps echoed through the room and Wonwoo looked between the two wide eyed. Jeonghan stood up, rushing to Wonwoo's side.

"What the hell do you two think you're doing?" He asked sternly. "Do you think of anyone but yourselves?" Jeonghan angrily asked.

"Jeonghannie..." Wonwoo began. "Just leave them be."

"No are you insane. What is wrong with you two?" Jeonghan said louder. The whole church waited for their response but were met with silence. "Honestly what on earth is wrong with both of you-"

"Jeonghan." Wonwoo placed a hand on his arm. "It's okay." Wonwoo felt like he was going to throw up, trying to find any good thing in this situation. And there he was.

Kim Mingyu. Standing dumbfounded in the middle of the aisle, the light from the windows casting an undeniable spotlight on him. Wonwoo blocked out the mumbling of his wedding guests and walked down the steps towards Mingyu.

"Wonwoo, We've known each other since high school, and maybe I didn't realize it back then, but every moment since we broke up has been torture. I've missed your laugh, your smile, the way your eyes light up when you talk about something you're passionate about. I've missed us. I've realized that no one else compares to you. You're the one I've been searching for all this time. I know I messed up before, but I'm here now, standing in front of you, pouring my heart out because I can't let you slip away again. I love you. I've loved you since high school, and I'll love you for the rest of my life. Please, give us another chance. Say you'll give us another chance" Mingyu spoke without missing a beat.

"I love you too Mingyu.." Wonwoo replied, the sparkle in his eyes glimmering, Mingyu grabbed him by the waist causing Wonwoo to wrap his arms around his neck, leaning in for a passionate kiss.

"Run away with me." Mingyu whispered against his lips.He held out his hand, waiting.

Wonwoo looked around at everyone staring at him, he may not know what the future holds, but he did know what he wanted in that moment. He placed his hand on top of Mingyu's and Mingyu began to run, out of the church and into the blinding lights of the urban city. He waved down to the first taxi and they both got in, grinning at each other.

"Where to?" The taxi driver asked.

"The airport." Mingyu responded and wonwoo looked at him shocked. "Do you trust me?"

"Of course I do" Wonwoo responded gently. Mingyu leaned in to press a kiss on his cheek.

"Then relax." Mingyu smiled at him and Wonwoo finally leaned back in his seat.
