Forever and Always

Chapter 10:

It was nighttime and we are in In-N-Out Burger, the best place ever! Obviously, the boys had to sign a few autographs and take a lot of pictures. So, the girls and I ordered regular burgers which are still huge and milkshakes, with fries.

The boys got our seats after they took care of the fans. We went and sat with them while we waited for our food. "So, what are we gonna do tomorrow?" I questioned.

Calum just smirked and answered, "Well, we are gonna all have our own little dates. I'm not gonna answer what we're doing because it's a surprise!"

"Aww, why not?"

"I told you it's a surprise!"

"Okay but it's curiosity that killed the cat!" I say as I laugh.

All if a sudden, I got a text from my mom! I got so happy and started smiling.

Luke asks, "Who is it?"

"My mom."

"Why would you be so excited about your mom texting you?"

Calum pitches in before I can answer, "Her mom is her best friend and misses her I'm guessing."

"Wow and I've only known him less than a week!" I laugh as I speak pointing to him. After I said that, the lady behind the counter called out our order number and we got our food. We were all starving, so we didn't talk. Just ate. It took forever and Sarah, Jessie, and I could only finish half because we knew that this place has filling food and a lot of it! The boys ate most of their food but it's practically impossible to fully finish it. It was the end of the night and we told the bus driver to drive us to Oceanside Beach. Just in case we did go swimming, I got my bathing suit on with a cover up shirt and shorts.

We got to the beach and there weren't many people there so we started a fire in one of the fire pits. The boys brought out their guitars, bass, and drumsticks out with them. They played songs and we also sang along with them. Michael started playing a song and as soon as he played 2 notes I gasped and then Sarah started elbowing me! Cal looked at me and started singing to me. I blushed and then the chorus came up and I started singing along, when it got to the chorus the second time everyone started singing, and it sounded amazing! When the song ended all the people around us were staring like we were the weirdest people in the world. Later, we all walked around on the shore where water just barely got under our feet.

Since I've been there several times before, I knew where a rocky Boardwalk was so Calum and I walked there and intertwined our fingers, hand-in-hand. We could see sailboats far in the distance and it looked beautiful with the ocean waves crashing down. It felt like we're in our own world. Like no one else existed and it was amazing. We held each other and while I laid my head on his shoulder he was able to lay his head on mine. After about 5 minutes he unwrapped himself from me and looked into my tired eyes. "El, I love you."

I grinned, "Forever and always."

We went into a hug and I heard him whisper, "I'll never let you go." When I heard that he hugged me tighter and I felt like nothing could separate us.

Eventually, we took each other's hand and walked back. Everyone was still at the campfire and they were asleep. I whisper to him, "Let them sleep there's a playground over there we can hang out at."
