When Calum finished the song/dance he came up to me and pushed my short light brown hair out of my face. "Hi, I love your shirt! Where'd you get it?"
"From a horrible place," I say with a shiver, "Hot Topic. I hate it there, way too dark for me! We also went to Starbucks."
"Starbucks!" He grabs my smoothie out of my hands and runs with it, "This is mine!" I look at him from the same place I was when he took my smoothie. Because he didn't realize I had finished it mostly and either way, I didn't want it anymore. He looks to see how much is left and pouts, "You didn't save me any? Well I see how it is!"
"Nothing personal, it's just business!" I speak and laugh as he's still pouting, "I'll get you one tomorrow, how's that sound?"
He gets a huge smile on his face. "What was in this anyway?" and holds it up.
"Smoothie."
"Wait! You went to Starbucks, the best COFFEE place in the world and get a smoothie?! There's something wrong about that!"
"Sorry to say but this is something your gonna hate me for... I hate coffee! It tastes disgusting and isn't good for you. So, I refuse to drink it."
"You monster! Just kidding, I don't like coffee either, I usually get tea. But seriously, next thing you know you won't like Chipotle!"
"I haven't been there before."
"What kind of white girl are you?!"
"The weird one! But you should know that already Calum."
"Good point, yet again! Well I gotta go the show is gonna start soon." he says and kisses me on the way out the door with his bass in his hands. I don't care how many times I see the same show, it doesn't get old! I'm in the front row with Sarah, and Jessie, we are by far their biggest supporters and their biggest screamers! Every time they sing the word 'she' in a song they look over to us and smile.
When Amnesia came on, he looked like he'd just realized something, and I knew what it was, he remembered what I told him! About my sisters and what happened, when he looked over to me he smiled, and I couldn't help but smile. He knew... he remembered, which meant so much to me, and then I started crying, and remembering all those nightmares and it hurt so bad. Sarah saw me crying and hugged me trying to calm me down, and as always, I only needed a hug and I was better.
The concert ended and I ran backstage to see Calum. He smiled as I ran up to him, he hugged me tightly and said, "I'm so sorry I forgot."
"What did you forget?" Luke asked with a confused look on his face.
"Something from my past that's really shitty." I said to Luke.
Sarah gasped, "Oh that story! That's why you were crying!"
"I'm so confused! Why were you crying? What story?" Luke says as he raises his voice.
"I'm not an only child! I had 3 adopted sisters and they all turned out to live in the 'bad crowd'. The second oldest, Mackayla, took the youngest, Hannah, when she moved out to see the oldest, Julia. She left California and went back to Missouri with her before we woke up the next morning, Hannah was gone. And that was 2 years ago, I can't come to believe that we still haven't found Hannah. They move around constantly so we can't find them." I started to breakdown as Calum comforted me.
Everyone went silent and looked at me, "How have you not told us before?" the guys all questioned.
"It took me 2 years to tell my best friends and 1 week to tell some guys that I've known for 1 week and a 1/2. You should be happy I told you guys." then I say, "So pushy!!!" sarcastically with a laugh.
