" Ah Key, we failed again, she went back home," Amelia informed, plopping down next to Keylen on the couch

" David texted, Angel is already home awhile ago" exclaimed the best friend, frustrated that nothing seems to work with her friend.

" But Nothing new here Am, let's just forget about it" Keylen suggested already knowing her best friend wouldn't even bother, " But for real what if i was in real danger? She wouldn't sacrifice? Aunt Sofie texted me eventually that Angel already left the club once she arrived"

Amelia and Keylen both seemed to receive false news regarding Angel, David as always thought Angel is at home not bothering to check for real, same for Sofie.

" Should we come up with something else now ? i mean, let's just be normal and set her up for few dates, force her to go if she refuses. Clubs and drinks aren't even her scenery, Am. I feel like we are taking it too far"

" I agree, let's just take a break for now, i need a beer" Amelia said getting herself a beer from the fridge, gesturing to the other woman if she wants one, " I don't even get how we want to succeed in getting her to date, if us ourselves can't even manage to pull a proper date" She continued

" Aren't you with that Mark guy?" Keylen asked raised an eyebrow, confused she already knew the woman in front of her in a relationship with a guy.

" Oh please, he wishes dating someone like me, he was just a fling"

" well at least your getting something" Keylen whispered under her breathing, not wanting to be heard.

Meanwhile Angel is still stuck in the small room, in the back of the club she entered, unfazed not moving deeply in thoughts, trying to figure what's going on with her heart and stomach, whenever that woman speaks or move. " HEY EDWARD, IN HERE" suddenly Maddison screamed hearing her friend calling out for her behind the door, she went to knock loudly on the door so he would hear her. He came right away, with a key trying to kick the door open.

Finally, a rescue was on its way, Maddison quickly put on her Mask before the door opens, yet Angel couldn't shake off the sense of disappointment as the woman hurriedly rushed off to her second performance. Without waiting for a response, " Bye Bye Dino" the woman bid her farewell, leaving Angel to contemplate everything further as she exited the club and got into her car, still trying to make sense of her emotions.

It was well past midnight when Angel returned home, feeling a mix of exhaustion and unresolved thoughts. She went straight to the kitchen to prepare warm milk before bed, hoping it would ease her mind and help her sleep. The encounter with the intriguing brunette lingered in her thoughts, refusing to fade away even as she tried to settle in for the night. Despite her eventful day, sleep seemed elusive as her mind continued to replay the events of the evening.

Hoping tomorrow to arrive, and to forget about everything and everyone she encountered.

"Ms. Jauregui, your mother has been calling your office repeatedly, requesting your presence," informed Sarah to Angelikie, who appeared visibly preoccupied and distant.

Angel had been struggling to focus on her work for the past week, her thoughts constantly drifting towards a particular brunette. She felt a sense of unease, as if she was losing control. "No," she muttered, shaking her head in an attempt to dispel those thoughts, yet she couldn't face her secretary.

Sarah attempted to persuade her, but Angelikie interrupted, "But Ma'am, she re—No, no, no."

Angel's inner turmoil about her persistent thoughts of Maddison was evident, leaving her feeling uncomfortable and perplexed about these unfamiliar emotions. Her secretary decided to leave her alone for now, and to call the CEO to inform her.
