the beach vacation was postponed to the second week as Lauren had some urgent matter requires her full presence at the company. So for making up for her family, they're going for a 10 days trip to their beach house, starting from today. 

 the Jaureguis were preparing their stuff to go to their beach house with the Hansen. As always Camila was rushing them. 

" I TOLD YOU TO PREPARE YOUR STUFF SINCE LAST WEEK" Camila shouted, " Nancy do me a favor and help them" letting out a sigh, already in her beach dress and sandals with her sunglasses on. 

" Mom can you please convince Ma to let Jason tag along" Ava asked her mom sweetly, " Ava you  know this is only family trip, Next time baby" Camila replied 

" But Keylen is coming that's not fair!" Ava stomped her feet annoyed already, " First she's a family, second she's not coming, she has to help her mother with something" 

" That's why my lovely daughter you go check on your sister please" Camila continued pulling her daughter out the door in the backyard, making her daughter groan 

As she went back to her yelling " LAUREN GET YOUR ASS DOWN RIGHT NOW" 

" Els, can i borrow your shorts? i lost m-NO" Ella interrupted

" MA ELLA IS NOT LETT- Okay okay you kid fucking take whatever you want" huffing open the drawer for her sister, getting out of the room going downstairs, with her backpack. 

" You know we're staying there for a week?" Lauren asked meeting her daughter on the stairs, noticing the small backpack, " I know" coldly replied, without facing her mother. 

There has been quite noticeable tension between the mother and daughter, Ella failed the second semester, her mother isn't aware of it, yet. but she already knows it's hard to pass since she failed in both semester, it's gonna take the impossible for her to pass. So now she works helping Jason's brother in his garage. Which does not pay much, and sometimes doesn't pay her at all. She's been suffering for two months now, doesn't sleep much, and her body aches fo rest

" That's not a tone to use with your mother" Lauren said sternly, Ella the stubborn she is, ignored her mother and rushed downstairs, literally running to the car waiting outside. 

Lauren gritted her teeth, trying her best to stay calm, this trip is to relax. She reached went to the car as everyone else followed after in the benz sprinter, that fitted the both families. 

"Okay, since no one is missing, Hansen, you're driving," Lauren said, tossing the car key to Dinah, earning a groan from her. "But we're taking turns halfway."

The three-hour drive had the teenagers seated in the back, with the adults in the middle, leaving the parents up front.

"Aunt Lauren, once we get there, can i please ride your boat?" Elijah asked from the back.

"Sure, Elijah, but you better be careful," Lauren replied, giving a thumbs up and receiving a slap in the arm from Normani. "You're supposed to say no, Lauren. You know it's not safe."

"He's 18, Normani. Let the boy live a bit, and I trained him last year. He's good."
