After Angel left the house, she made her way to her best friend's house. It had been a while since they last met, but this time she needed her by her side. Keylen always knew how to comfort her.

"I still don't think what you did was wrong, Anggie. She provoked you. So, Newton's third law. Believe me, she may be upset, but not with you-she's upset with herself. I'm sure about that," Keylen said, trying to comfort her.

"But I made Mommy cry. Now Mom won't like what I did, and she'll get mad at me again. I just made things worse," she said anxiously, feeling overwhelmed again.

Keylen shook her head and held her best friend's hand. "No, you did not, Anggie. Stop overthinking. You have the right to express your feelings, and that's what you've been feeling since forever. I'm proud that you finally said that right to her face. She deserved every word you said..." She cut herself off, realizing how mean her words sounded. "I mean, I respect your mother and love her, but she needed that to knock some sense into her head.

"So, who do you love more, me or your girlfriend?" Keylen asked, licking her ice cream.

"Her," Angel answered without hesitation, making her best friend roll her eyes.

"Really, that much? You're replacing me already, Anggie?" she playfully pouted.

"She likes you too. She wants to meet you too," Angel said.

Keylen glanced at her. "Aww You talk to her about me, Anggie?" she teased, nudging her arm. Angel simply nodded in response. " Even though I'm upset with you that you kept it a secret from me but I'm really happy for you. I can already see what a good influence she has on you. I would very much love to meet her and thank her."

Angel frowned, her day couldn't get any worse. Now her only friend was sad too. "Are you really upset with me? I don't like it. Everyone is upset today."

"Eh, just a little. I thought we were best friends. Why did you hide it from me? I always tell you everything about my love life." Keylen pouted, unable to hide the pain she felt. "Do you not trust me anymore?"

Angel immediately shook her head. "I do trust you. I wanted to tell you, but it wasn't the right time," she said, repeating Maddison's words.

Nodding in understanding, Keylen said, "Just don't hide anything more from now on, or else I'm ending this friendship forever." She playfully threatened, pointing a finger at her.

Feeling panic and anxiety rising in her mind, Angel took a sip of water, looking nervous. "Spill it, Anggie. What more are you hiding?" Keylen said as soon as she noticed her best friend's trembling.

"Nothing. I'm not hiding anything. There's nothing more. I already said everything," Angel replied, trying to mask her nervousness. She hated lying, and her forehead was sweating.

Keylen chuckled. "Come on, say it."

"I will tell you, but you can't tell anyone. It's a secret between us. Not even Ams," Angel said in a low voice, leaning closer to whisper, "My girlfriend is pregnant."

"I beg your pardon?" Keylen asked, not sure she heard her right.

"She's pregnant. I got her pregnant. She's just one month along," Angel repeated, a bit louder.

Fanning herself, Keylen felt her body turning hot. Overthinking what Lauren might think, she literally threatened her relationship with Amelia if she did nothing about Angel's situation. "God, I need to sit down. I need some water."

"Why are you nervous? It's my baby. I got her pregnant. But it's okay, I proposed yesterday," Angel said, smiling at the memory.

Choking on her water, Keylen kept coughing endlessly, panting and suffocating from all the news she was hearing today.
