Maddison POV

I just got out from the gym after the chaotic morning i had with my mother, and meeting Angel's mother two days ago it was all just too weird. I was on a call with Edward getting him all updated. 

' But you made a good first impression right? she at least liked you? you know, for future purposes' he said, making me roll my eyes, as i was walking to my apartment. 

' Hmmm either she did indeed like me or she was just being her sweet self. She is the favorite Mommy so the easiest to love' I said, still didn't process this morning, God already a shopping date with the mother yet oblivious of who i am. 

' I still think there's no valid reason for you to keep it low till now, i mean her sister already knows. And it's been what? 5 months since you both are dating and you already said the Mommy liked you. So? nothing is on the way ' I knew he was going to bring this up already.

' It's not like that Eddie' I said letting out a loud heavy sigh, It's been stressing already, ' You know how Angel is, she's like a puppet whatever they say she does. I don't think they will like it if I randomly entered their daughter's life, and announced, Well we've been dating for half a year i'm the girlfriend. They want to choose the girlfriend or hell skip it to a wife already, they want to be the one choosing her partner and not her, they would go crazy.' I explained 

' Come on, do not say a puppet that's too harsh. she's just used to it, but now with you she's learning right? she makes her own decisions and all. Also you don't know how it is, Didn't Emma say they've been trying to arrange a marriage for her because Angel shows zero interest in woman? It's not that they're controlling her but they're helping or guiding her. Remember the incident she did act surprisingly and attractively upon it, I'm gay, but hell i got a boner she knows how to handle a gun' 

I huffed, i may sound rude and harsh but that's just the reality, ' I love her Eddie, I'm certain she's the one for me, I do want to meet her family officially but can't help but stress over it especially her CEO Mom, she gives me the creeps, too harsh and strict what if she didn't see me fit or suitable ' i entered my building going to the elevator

' Girl you're just overreacting, be for real, you're the Sofia Richards daughter that's just a fast pass for you to enter their family' I laughed at him, ' God Eddie, Mom is crushing hard over the wife, you should've seen her how she acts like a highschooler' 

As the elevator door was closing, a hand appeared causing it to open, I raised my head only to meet the one and only, my girlfriend but looking completely different, her shirt buttons were open showing off her sexy collarbone and chest, her hair was wet messy making the new haircut looking incredible, her shirt sleeves rolled up to mid arm her veins popping out. What has happened to her? Where's my nerd Dino?

' I will call you back Eddie' I said not caring for his reply and hang up, " I got you coffee" Angel said showing her the hot cup in her hand, I was still daydreaming, ".. I got you coffee, this is for you please take it" again repeated. 

I shook my head and took the cup from her, " Eh Thanks baby, Where were you?" couldn't help but ask, Wasn't she supposed to be at work?. I can smell her cologne, she never use that. 

Angel pointed to her cheek, " You always kiss me when i give you something" reminded me, I rolled my eyes , as the elevator tinged arriving to our floor getting out, i unlocked the door turning  looking at her, " Aren't you supposed to be at work preparing for tonight's event?"

Tonight will be the opening of the Jauregui big awaited resort, which my mother is also a partner in it so i will be there, i opened the door letting us in, still she hadn't replied to my question only to be pinned on the door.
