It was the middle of the night when Penny woke up to an unbearable pain in her abdomen, realising what it could be, but she wished for it to be wrong.
She quickly got up and rushed to the bathroom, stripping her trousers off and looking at the huge blood marks that had covered the fabric.
The blonde haired woman started to feel nauseous all of a sudden and quickly bent her head inside the proceleain toilet bowl to puke out all her food from yesterday, knowing that this was caused by her excruciating period cramps.
Once she had finished vomiting, she sat in the corner of the bathroom with her knees up to her chest and started crying, feeling like everything was lost as she had no sanitary products or clothing.
She then heard light knocking on the door and the sound of her boyfriends voice, "Penny, are you in there? Is it ok if I come in?", he spoke worriedly, thinking that she'd been kidnapped during the night, "yeah, you can come in, the doors open, honey!", she spoke without thinking.
He turned the doorknob and pushed the door open, feeling his heart drop as he saw his significant other on the bathroom floor, looking like she was suffering from a damaged organ in her body or was on the verge of death.
Sam squatted down in front of her, passionately kissing her forehead and staring at her saddened face stained with tears and snot.
"Hey! What's wrong, my flower! Are you catching a fever? Or do you feel like you've got something else?", the red haired man questioned sympathetically, desperately wanting to help the love of his life and she opened her legs without saying a word.
The hero next door could see the huge stains of blood at the front of her panties, realising that she has started her period, which made his heart instantly soften as she had to deal with the horrible pain that comes with it every month.
"Does it hurt, dear?", he spoke in a low voice, placing the palm of his right hand on her abdomen, while brushing the fingers on his free hand through her golden locks, "yes, I feel like I'm dying, and I've got no spare clothes or sanitary equipment!", she blurted, while sobbing loudly.
"Don't worry, babe! I can sort that out, but first let's get you into the bathtub to soothe your tummy, because I can only imagine how much discomfort your feeling!", he placed his left hand on her belly to help ease the pain, while stripping all her clothes off with his free hand, not caring about the blood.
Now that his girlfriend was stark naked, he filled the bathtub full of warm water, before lifting her up and cradling her against his body, wiping away the tears with the tips of his fingers as he placed her down in the tub, not caring if her blood went on his clothes.
Sam left his lover to peacefully enjoy bathing and soaking her body in the pleasant liquids, while he fetched a few items from the shops.
He returned within a few minutes and quickly headed to the lavatory, seeing that his lover has relaxed a little.
"Come on, dear! Let's get you out of the water, before it become cold and unpleasant, so you can change into these, because I've got no clue how to use a pad!", Sam held the items up, which made his girlfriend let out a big sigh of relief and purposely splashed him with water for being a dumb brain.
Penny climbed out of the bathtub and her boyfriend held the towel open for her, wrapping it around her body and gently started drying her off, being extra careful not to increase the cramps in her tummy.
Once the hero next door had finished drying his poorly queen's wet skin, she attached the pad to her new blue panties, showing her dumb brain how to use it and quickly pulling them up her legs, not wanting anymore of her bodily cycle to bleed on to the floor.
