(Dan's POV)

I was sat beside Phil in the hospital for what seemed like ages. I informed a doctor that he had been responsive, and was told that Phil would be okay as long as he had good bed rest.

I stroked Phil's hair away from his face, while humming quietly. He was so peaceful when he was asleep. I'm so glad he's okay.

A nurse came in and woke Phil. "You should be able to go now," she stated. "Although, Phil has had a lot of pain killers. So, just keep a close eye on him." She said concerned.

"Yeah, of course." I smiled, standing up from my chair. The nurse left and Phil got up. "I'm gonna go get chaaaaaanged." He giggled, stumbling to the bathroom. "Don't hurt yourself." I sighed, he's gonna be a handful.

After Phil finally got changed, we headed out of the hospital and towards home. "Hey, Danny boy....you wanna give me a kiss?" Phil smirked. "Phil! We're on the tube! Keep it down!" I shushed him.

He rolled his eyes and looked away. Once we were home, Phil was still high on pain killers. "You know what Dan? We never do anything anymore. We should do something." He slurred. "Like what?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Let's go to the library!" He said cheerfully. "We can't. You should be on bed rest." I said, placing my hands on my hips. "But Danny, I'll get into bed as soon as we get home...I promise " Phil smirked. Damn him.

"Okay. Let's go." I rolled my eyes, heading out the door. The walk to the library consisted of me trying to keep Phil from falling over and/or being hit by a car. It's not easy when a 6'2 tall man child who's high on pain killers is leaning all over the place.

Soon enough, we were at the library. "Okay, listen Phil. You have to be quiet in here. It's a library." I said sternly. "Okay mom." Phil said sarcastically. He brushed past me and opened the double doors.

"Alright, go look for whatever it is you want, I'll be at the computers near those tables. I'm trusting you." I said, pointing at Phil. "Okay! Thank you Danny." "Stop calling me that!"

I sat at the computers ready to log into Tumblr.

After about 15 minutes of continues scrolling, I heard Phil laugh. Then I heard another laugh. That wasn't Phil's. Oh hell no.

I quickly logged out of my account, and stood up. I looked around for Phil and whoever was with him.

I saw him about two tables away with a guy who looked about our age, with chin length blond hair that resembled a coconut, and big bright blue eyes. He looked like he came straight out of an anime.

I puffed my chest and walked over to them. "Excuse me, but may I ask who you are?" I said to the blond. "Oh, um hi. I'm Armin Arlert. And you are?" He responded. "I'm Dan Howell. Nice to meet you. " I shook his hand. "I apologize for Phil's behavior here. He's all high on pain killers." I added, pointing to Phil.

"It's fine, really. He's a nice guy." Armin smiled. "Hey Armin, you hair is amazing. Can I make you a flower crown?" Phil asked. Armin blushed and nodded, "U-uh, sure." I didn't like where this was going. Armin was nice, but Phil's mine.

"Well Armin, I have to go now. I'm sorry, I'm meant to be on bed rest. Here's my number." Phil took Armin's arm and grabbed a pen from a nearby desk, scribbling his number down. "Thank you, and goodbye, Phil-san" Armin responded.

Phil-san? They already had nicknames for each other???

"Oh, and goodbye to you as well, Dan-san." Armin smiled. Guess not. "Do you mind me asking, why the 'sans' after our names?" I asked. "Well, I've got quite a bit of Japanese in me, so sometimes it just comes out. Sorry." He scratched his neck. "No need to be sorry, I like it." I smiled.

I turned to see Phil had already left. "I better go, goodbye Armin-san!" I said, turning to leave. Armin smiled and waved goodbye.

Phil was waiting outside the library. "We really need to get out more. Making new friends is fun." Phil slurred. "We really need to get you to bed before you pass out. Come on." I said.

Phil has been asleep for a good 3 hours now and I've been doing nothing. Fun. I guess I should just go to sleep as well. I need good rest if I'm going to take care of Phil for a while.
