A.L.E.N - Between Shadows (Chapter 2)

Act 27

Adam was so frustrated by this whole situation that, as he was having a conversation with Robert, "I want to know where my mother is... and if I find this person, who did that..." Adam is very angry as he makes a fist.

Robert interrupts Adam by trying to calm him down: "Adam, I will do everything that I can to find her." Suddenly, a police officer calls out Robert, "Mr. Rogers! She is here!" Both Adam and Robert were speechless and surprised as they went to the police and saw Hannah back, a bit hurt but safe with Sam.

A few minutes later, Hannah was sitting on the ambulance with the paramedic who was cleaning her wound, and Adam was so frustrated that he said to his mother, as she was a bit hurt and he saw her forehead with a wound and a bit of blood on the side, "Mom...? What happened... Are you alright?"

Hannah said with a close-lipped smile, "I'm fine, Adam. It's just a scratch."All of a sudden, Julie and Aiden showed up too, in shock and wondering what happened. Aiden, who was looking around the scene of the crime in shock and almost couldn't hold his anger as he was trembling in fear and terror, immediately said, "Mom!?"

A police officer goes to Aiden and says to him, "Sorry, kid, you can't be here. It's a crime scene case."and Hannah interrupts the police officer by saying, "Excuse me, officer?! He is my son."Robert raised his hand to the police officer to say that it's alright.

As Adam tried to calm Aiden, "Aiden! Look, whoever did this can be far away... So the police still have time to catch this person."

And when Robert saw the old, dirty bandage on the ground, he said very coldly, "I don't think so, Adam. He is not an easy catch."

Adam shakes his head and asks Robert, "Wait. What are you saying, Mr. Rogers?"

Robert stands up and looks at everyone, saying, "Alen wouldn't stop until he achieved whatever he wanted.".

And then Robert slowly walked to Julie and said to her, "You and Aiden should go home, and I will be there later. You shouldn't be even here. So, go home now." and as he walked away, he stopped by Julie.

Julie, as she looks concerned, says, "But, Dad! I want to help."

Robert turns around and says with an angry tone, "It's too dangerous, Ju!" then calmly said, "So please go home and take Aiden with you."

Julie was a little annoyed and just walked away with Aiden quietly, and Robert was very concerned about everything, and Adam noticed it.

Adam looks outside from the front window without Julie, and Aiden notices as they walk outside. Suddenly, Aiden stops and says with a guilty tone, "It is all my fault." He looks down, making fists.

Julie goes to Aiden, places her hands on Aiden's shoulders, and says, "Hey Aiden, it isn't your fault..." but Aiden puts her hands away from him.

And Aiden almost yelled at her, saying, "It is my fault, Julie! None of this would happen if I were so damn stupid. This whole situation happened because of me." He pointed at himself and said, "Me, Julie! I caused this! Just leave me alone," and walks away frustrated in the other way. Julie was a bit upset and went home, and Sam went after her.

Adam looks around very concerned, until he sees the ripped-off letter from A.W. and puts it in his pocket. Take the chance to try to find a way to fix this before something else happens, as he said to Robert, "Mr. Rogers, I have to go. Something just came up—that I need to go to the library," and Robert just nods, "Of course. Go ahead," so Adam went to the library.
