Myself

I write to stop my thoughts becoming actions.

Why Lie:

Lying is a double-edged sword. Depending on the context it can have a positive effect, protecting the listener from impending worry or disappointment. However, it can also have a negative impact, and the speaker could find themselves in a web that is inescapable. I create not a web, but a cocoon, wrapping others in a silky coffin to defend them from anxiety.

For example, we had to take a quiz once to show people what we really thought about our school. The questions were as follows:

1) I enjoy School

2) I feel safe and happy at school

3) My views and ideas are listened to in class and in school

4) Behaviour is good in the school

5) Teachers are fair in the way they give sanctions

6) The school deals with bullying

7) There is a member of staff or senior pupil I can turn to if I have a problem

8) I enjoy living at my school

9) Everyone gets on well together

10) I am well looked after if I feel ill or am injured

11) I feel safe during school time

And this is how I answered them:

1) Agree

2) Agree

3) Agree

4) Agree

5) Agree

6) Agree

7) Agree

8) Agree

9) Agree

10) Agree

11) Agree

And this is exactly how I wanted to answer all of them:

1) Disagree

2) Disagree

3) Disagree

4) Disagree

5) Disagree

6) Disagree

7) Disagree

8) Disagree

9) Disagree

10) Disagree

11) Disagree

And these are the reasons for all of them:

1) I hate school, because I hate the people in it, and I hate myself. I hate my life, and so I hate everything in it, and school is in it, so I hate school.
