chris and i had been talking for a while now, i started to get worried about how many things he hasn't told me. it wasn't even bad things, it were just facts i didn't know about him until now.

"what do you mean your ex was cora?? YOU NEVER SAID THAT." i joked around with him, he had mentioned he had an ex but never said it was cora. i was kinda surprised, nick had said he used to like her but i never knew they dated.

"yeahh, i don't tell a lot of people because i found it weird. plus, how could cora of all people manage to cheat on me? like i basically would never leave her side especially because i liked her a LOT, that's kinda crazy." he went on, i'd been cracking up at this.

"no because i think she still likes you, like she called me yesterday and sounded heartbroken that you and lizzie were alone together," i told him through my laughs, "she also wouldn't leave me alone, she was asking all kind of questions about if me and you were together or something." i stopped laughing, one day those questions would be the end of me.

chris noticed the sudden change in my mood, frowning a little when he did. "do you get asked that a lot?" he asked, basically reading right through me.

"dont you get asked that?" i asked him, ignoring his question to ask my own.

"no??" he answered like it was obvious.

"oh." was all that could come out of my mouth, that was weird. if people were asking me that so much, why didn't they ask chris either? we both sat in silence for a while, just thinking.

"wait, so what have you said to them?" he asked, i almost started laughing but held it in when i saw how serious he looked.

"i said no, obviously." i said with a little bit of sass in my voice.

"oh okay, good." he said as a smile grew on his face and so did one on mine. that question was kinda awkward, what else would i say?

chris had finally realized how long he'd been here when he looked at his phone to check the time. it had been like 4 hours of us just talking, that's kinda insane especially with someone who i didn't talk to all night.

"i should probably go, i don't want to take up your time." he said, moving his hand through his hair. i didn't want him to leave but i figured he was tired. i nodded, letting him get up as he grabbed his phone from the couch and drop it into his back pocket.

"okay, thank you. bye chris," i said, getting up behind him. "i'll talk to you later." i added before he left.

"and i'll be there." he said, smiling and walking out the door. i smiled at his words, knowing he wasnt lying about that.
