i woke up to tiktok sounds playing faintly to the right of me. i turned around to face the noise, it was ofcourse lizzie and i secretly knew that. she hadn't noticed i was awake until i sat up looking at whatever she was watching.
"oh, goodmorning. did i wake you up?" lizzie asked, genuinely worried.
"no." i lied, i knew she would feel bad. it didn't matter anyways, i still felt like i slept enough. "what time is it anyways?" i asked, questioning why she still said "goodmorning" when i knew i slept really late.
"11:50." lizzie replied. well, ofcourse it was almost noon already. i just knew i couldn't wake up so early, especially during summer.
lizzie continued to watch tiktok as she scrolled to a random clip of a guy. i automatically knew who it was from just his voice and shifted closer to lizzie. i was confused, what was chris doing in a car with his brothers on my friends fyp?
"that's chris." i said under my breath subconsciously.
"really? wait, it does look like him." lizzie came to realize. was chris famous? why have i never seen him before? i questioned myself and decided to ask him tonight.
time went quick. by the time i got hungry, it was already 7:45 meaning i had over an hour to get ready. i got up, headed to the bathroom and hopped in the shower as quick as i could. once i was done, i looked over at my closet and chose a cute top and some comfy pants. i wanted to be comfortable and didn't want to make a bad impression already. i wouldn't be out for long so it didn't really matter anyways, or that's what i thought.
i did my makeup like i did everyday, just added some extra stuff to my eyes and a pink-ish lipstick. i started talking to lizzie about how i should act and what i should say, all she told me was to be myself. i didn't really know if how i am everyday was normal, but i listened to her anyways. i blew a kiss to lizzie saying goodbye as she started getting ready for her date too. i grabbed my bag and headed out.
