Tristan wakes up and it is nine in the morning. He gets up and heads downstairs. Emily is calling and he answers. This conversation will be between Emily(E) and Tristan(T).
(T) Hello?
(E) Are we ok?
(T) We are fine.
(E) Can I come back over?
(T) I will call you later. I am going to spend some time with the boys. Then we will make a plan. As soon as you walk through this door you will apologize to Gabe. Then you will apologize to Blake for accusing him of lying. If you can't do that do not come over.
(E) I can do that.
(T) I will call you later.
(E) Ok.
Tristan hangs the phone up and starts making breakfast. He receives another call. It's from a number he does not recognize. O will be for Officer. T will be for Tristan.
(O) Is this Tristan?
(T) It is, who is calling.
(O) I am an officer with the state patrol. Do you have a Blake Jackson with you?
(T) I do.
(O) You were put as an emergency contact as well as his uncle Charlie. I have some news could you please take a seat.
(T) Yes.
Tristan sits down and informs the officer he is sitting.
(O) The rain caused an accident this morning. Blake's parents and brothers passed away in the crash. We are at memorial hospital. We need him to come and identify the bodies. I understand this is hard.
(T) I'm sorry what?
(O) They passed away on the scene. The coroner can explain when yall get there. Take your time. We just need him to come and identify the body. The uncle is on the way. He has a copy of the will and can discuss everything with you.
(T) Thank you, I will wake them up and we will head right there.
(O) Yes sir. I am so sorry for you loss.
(T) Thank you.
Tristan hangs up the phone and breaks down crying. He cries for thirty minutes. He goes up and takes a shower. He tries to pull himself together. This is going to be the hardest day in Blake's life. He finishes up and walks in the bedroom. Gabe and Blake are up and playing on the PlayStation. Tristan stares at them. Gabe(G) and Blake(B) will join the conversation.
(G) What's wrong?
(T) Gabe, I need you to head downstairs for a minute. I need to speak with Blake alone.
(G) Is everything ok?
(T) Please Gabe?
(G) Ok.
Gabe gets up and walks downstairs. Tristan sits on the bed and pulls Blake on his lap. He hugs him. Blake gets nervous.
(B) What's wrong?
(T) We have to get ready and leave. We need to go to the hospital.
(B) Why?
(T) Your parents had a wreck this morning. Buddy, they didn't survive. Everyone passed away.
(B) Even Eli?
(T) Yes.
Blake just stares at Tristan. Tristan has tears coming down his eyes. Blake understands it but is not processing it.
