The boys finish playing the game and they meet in the living room. They had fun playing the game, but Tristan was worried Blake would overuse his arm. Tristan puts Blake's arm back in the sling and he makes him sit on the couch. He gets him some pain medicine. Blake tries to protest but Tristan is not hearing it. He does not want the pain to come back with a vengeance.
Tristan turns the tv on and he lets Blake pick something out. He goes to the kitchen, and he starts cooking. He needs to make something healthy tonight. They have been eating out for the last two weeks and he needs to make sure the boys are getting a balanced meal. He starts making a vegetable stir fry. He knows the boys won't be happy, but they will get over it.
Gabe sits with Blake and his phone rings. Blake looks down and it's his uncle. He gets up and goes to his room. He closes the door and answers the phone. Blake(B) and Charlie(C) will speak.
(C) Hey buddy, how are you feeling?
(B) I am feeling better.
(C) That's good. I am glad you are feeling ok. You texted me and said you need to speak with me about something. What is going on?
(B) I want to buy Tristan and Gabe a gift. They have been helping me.
(C) Ok, what do you want to buy them?
(B) I am not sure; I need your help.
(C) What do they like?
(B) I know they like shoes and I know they like clothes.
(C) How about you do a gift card?
(B) You think they would like that?
(C) I think so.
(B) Ok, I am going to buy them. It will be a bigger charge on my card. Is that ok?
(C) That is fine buddy. You can buy whatever you want.
(B) Thank you, Uncle Charlie.
(C) You're welcome, I am still visiting in two weekends.
(B) I can't wait to see you.
(C) Me either buddy. I will let you go, call me if you need anything.
(B) I will, I love you.
(C) I love you too.
Blake hangs up the phone and he goes online and buys the two gift cards. He gets them both a two-hundred-and-fifty-dollar gift card and he sends it to their phone number. He lays back on his bed to rest his eyes. The medicine makes him dizzy. The next thing he knows is he is being awaken by Gabe. He raises up and Gabe helps him up.
(G) Tristan told me to get you for dinner.
(B) Thank you.
(G) Do you need help?
(B) I got it. I need to wash my hands and use the bathroom. I will meet you in there.
(G) Ok.
Gabe goes back to the kitchen and Blake uses the bathroom and washes his hands. He takes his arm out of the sling, and he goes to the table. Tristan walks over and hugs him. Gabe does the same thing. Blake sits down. Tristan hands them their plates and then they will speak.
(T) I know you two don't like vegetables that much, but we need to have a balanced meal after all the greasy fast food.
(B) I am ok with it.
(G) I'm not, I am not eating this.
(T) You need to eat some of it.
(G) No thank you.
