Tristan wakes up before both boys. He slides out of bed, and he takes a shower. He is feeling like crap. He gets dressed and he goes downstairs. He takes his medicine, and he makes some oatmeal. He eats and then he gets on his laptop. He finds an apartment that is twelve minutes from campus. He calls and he speaks with management. He explains the situation and they send him a link to apply. He explains he wants to be moved in as soon as possible and that he can pay the full year's lease up front. He submits everything and he starts working on his schoolwork.
It is only nine thirty. He is going to let the boys sleep in until eleven. It is around ten thirty when he receives the call from the apartment manager. She has approved the application. The apartment is a three-bedroom three bath apartment. He qualified without having to pay the full year up front. It is a forty-minute drive from where they currently live. He informs her they will be there to view it at one. She agrees and he hangs up the phone. He heads upstairs and wakes the boys up. They both get up and take turns using the bathroom.
They come downstairs and they eat breakfast. Tristan makes them oatmeal with an apple and a vitamin. He also gives them their medicine and he sits with them to talk. He pulls the apartment up and shows them while they are eating. Both boys like the apartment. It is on the seventh floor, and they have a view of the city. The three boys will talk.
(T) Do you like it?
(G) I do.
(B) Me too.
(T) We are going to look at it today at one.
(B) Really?
(T) Yes, I was already approved. We will just go look at it and we will tour it. We will make sure we want it then we will go and get the utilities transferred. I will have the internet installed. I will have movers over this weekend. We will try to be in before Monday.
(G) You did this really fast.
(T) I do not want you two worrying about me dying in a car crash. I am going to skip class for the rest of the week. I will go back next week.
(B) You will not get in trouble?
(T) No.
(G) When do we start packing?
(T) We will wait to look at the apartment. If we like it, then we can start tomorrow. I know it will be hard to get everything packed up. We are just going to take what we want and need right now. Then we can come here every weekend for the next few weeks and clean this place up and put it up for sale.
(B) Are you sure you are not going to miss living here?
(T) I will miss it a little. I want you two to be happy though. I know you get worried. I want us to be a happy family.
(G) Thank you.
(B) You are the best big brother anyone could ask for.
(T) Thank you.
(G) When do we need to get ready?
(T) It is eleven fifteen now. You can head upstairs and shower and get ready. We will leave at twelve.
(G) Yes sir.
(B) Thank you for looking so fast.
(T) No problem baby.
The boys head upstairs and go to their rooms. Tristan knows this is going to be a long weekend, but he is ok with it. He just wants to make sure they are ok. It will also take stress away from him. It is only twelve minutes from class. He will be closer in case they need him. The apartment complex also has a roof top pool. He did not tell them about that. He knows they will be excited for that. The boys finish up and get dressed. They come downstairs and they get in the truck. They head to the city.
