Your POV:
# "Looky bubba, a butterfwy." I said, pointing at one in the bush.
"Yeah sis, it's pretty. Why don't you see if you can find another one?" He suggested, smiling as I started to drag Nya around the garden with me.
"NO! WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN? I CAN'T LEAVE THEM!" I heard my mum yelling fom inside the house and ran towards her, ignoring my siblings cries behind me. I saw a middle aged man pointing a katana at my parents, threatening them to make some sort of weapon.
"Mommy! Daddy!" I cried and ran over to stand in front of them.
"Y/n, no! You need to go! You need to leave now" my dad pleaded.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't little Y/ n Smith. I might just take you instead" he growled and jumped at me with his katana. At the last minute, Kai jumped in front of me and landed in a heap on the floor, hissing and groaning as he held his forehead.
"Kai?! I'm so sowy, bubba. I'm sowy, it's all my fault" I sobbed.
Mum and dad came over to us and whispered something in Kai and Nya's ear before standing up and going towards the man. "Y/n, sweetie, you promise me to listen to Kai and Nya? Promise me you will always stay with them okay?" Mum asked.
"No! Pwease don't go! Don't leave us alone, pwease!?"
"We love you" they both whispered.
All I heard were screams. #
Kai's POV:
I woke up to the sound of screaming coming from my sisters room. One of them sounds in pain, and I need to get there as quick as possible. I sprinted to the room and saw Nya lying on her bed, holding y/n in her arms.
"You're gonna be okay, sshh. It was just a dream, you're okay" Nya soothed. I slowly walked over and sat next Nya, carefully putting my hand on y/n's shoulder. She flinched and turned to look at me before burying her head in my chest and uncontrollably sobbing.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I ruined it, it's all my fault!" She screamed, "they should've been here!"
Ah. Now I know what's going on. Y/n had a nightmare about when our parents where taken by Crux. She was only 5 at the time but she still rememebers everything so clearly.
"Hey, it was not your fault. No matter what has happened, never think it was your fault. Do you hear me, y/n? Never, ever think that" I whispered as she snuggled further into my chest. Nya was on her other side, hugging her from behind whilst I stroked her hair slightly, rocking her back to sleep.
