When you're depressed/ sad over something- Lloyd

Your POV:

I'm watching Titanic in the game room when I hear a ton of commotion from the hallway. Someone comes bursting through the door and all it takes is a tuft of blonde hair for me to know who it is, "oh, hey Goldilocks. What's up?"

"First, I told you to stop calling me that. Second, come check this out! Uncle Wu brought back a surprise!" Lloyd starts jumping up and down like a little kid, and I go to stop him, but I'll just let him have his moment.

"I don't know Lloyd, I don't like surprises, you know that" I replied.

"Oh come on!" Lloyd dragged me to the hallway and I saw everyone crowding around in a circle.

"So" I said, "Where's this surprise everyone is all excited about?". The team turns to look at me before moving to the sides.

"Y/n, my little princess. Well, you're a lot taller now, how are you?" I'm speechless. Why is my dad here? Why is Lloyd excited about this? Has he completely forgotten what he's put us through?

"Dad?" I whisper, trying to prevent the tears from falling. I can't cry, not here, not now.

"The only and only" he responds. I can still feel Lloyd holding my wrist so I turn to glare at him.

"This" I spit, pointing at my dad, "this is what you were excited about? That, was the awesome surprise?!" Get a hold of yourself! Don't let your emotions show!

"Yeah! I mean, dad is back, and for good. It's something to be excited about. Don't you want to be a family again?" He asked curiously.

I roll my eyes at him, "you don't get it do you? Just because he's dragged his ass back here, doesn't mean he's going to change! But no, it's fine, play happy family all you want. Just don't come running to me when he leaves your sorry ass in the dirt again". I stormed off to my room and slammed the door, making sure to lock it.

~A few weeks later ~

Lloyd's POV:

Dad has been staying at the Bounty now for a few weeks and it's actually been a lot better than expected. He's really trying. I just wish y/n was hanging around with us as well. She's been avoiding everyone since Dad arrived. The only person who's really seen her is Kai, but even then, she barley says anything to him.

We've all noticed that she only eats when everyone goes to sleep, or sometimes she doesn't even eat at all. The training room is always being used by her, from the crack of dawn to late in the night. Kai said y/n hasn't been sleeping too well either; she's constantly having nightmares.

I don't know what's wrong with her, dad is back for good so why isn't she happy? I'm walking to the training room when I see y/n on the deck, looking over the railings. I stand and watch her for a few minutes. Wait a minute, is she...? Y/n's crying. She never cries. I see her put her hands on the railing and lean forward a bit. What is she doing?!

"Y/N NO!" I screamed and ran towards her, grabbing her waist and pulling her to the floor before she had the chance to go over. My scream got the attention of the others and they came running out.

"What's going on?"
"Is everything okay?"
"What happened?"

I looked at y/n who was still under me, trying to get out of my hold. "Stop it! Y/n stop it please! Why would you do that?!"

"Lloyd what did she do?" Nya asked. Y/n gave me a pleading look, silently telling me not to say anything.

"Sh- she tried to throw herself over the railings" I whispered.

"You foolish pathetic girl!!" Dad screamed. Everyone looked at him in shock.

"Brother, your only daughter hasn't been socialising with anyone for weeks, barley eating, not sleeping, being plagued with horrific nightmares. Now, she's tried to end her own life at the age of 15! And you're just going to stand there and criticise her!?" Uncle Wu questioned.

Y/n had stopped struggling against me and was staring at the floor, tears were silently falling down her face. "Maybe I would actually have the will to live if you hadn't made me feel so fucking small" she muttered.

"What did you just say to me?!" Dad demanded. Y/n stood up and faced him.

"If you hadn't made me feel so fucking small, I would've considered not doing it. But no, you had to use me as your own bloody punching bag, didn't you?!"

Wait what?!

"He did what?" Uncle Wu wondered.

"I wasn't the kid he wanted. Was I? I was always the disappointment, the untalented one. He didn't see a use for me so he tried to get rid of me" y/n revealed. I stood in front of her protectively.

"Dad? Please tell me you didn't" I pleaded.

"I won't lie to you son. I hated her, still do. I mean, look at her. She's worthless, useless, pathetic. I never wanted twins. I never wanted her!" He replied.

"Leave" I said, "leave now!" Dad looked shocked and hesitated before opening a portal and jumping through it. I looked at y/n behind me and she stared up at me with tear-filled eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" she cried. I instantly pulled her into a tight hug, gently running my hand through her hair. I realised how skinny she had gotten and how dark the circles were around her eyes.

"Come on" I cooed, "you need sleep and food"

"I- I'm okay. Im not hungry, I'll just grab something later" she snifflled. Kai grabbed her hand and started leading her inside.

"Y/n don't give me that bullshit. You're eating something, even if it's just a piece of fruit or a sandwich. I'll even take the first bite, Okay?" He encouraged.

"Bu-"

"No buts, sunshine" I interrupted her, "just a bite, we'll take baby steps okay? We'll go at your pace". Y/n slowly nodded her head and walked into the kitchen with Kai.

She'll get better, I'll make sure of it.
