Chapter nine

Intro :

3 weeks After Kikyō's death, Inuyasha's group has been sorting out their feelings and figuring out what they should do next.

Seeing she's  only be burden to her friends flora decides to leave the fight against Naraku to them and returns back to kagome's world upset .

Flora stares Kaguras fan and kannas mirror. She felt horrible .
(A week earlier Flashback )

Flora picks up Kanna's mirror saying she didn't have to die. As she examines the mirror, some of the remaining shards of broken glass in the mirror crumble into dust and blow away.
Kagome wonders if Kanna was trying to take them with her. However, flora tells him that wasn't what Kanna wanted.

Flora sheds a tear as the shard falls from her eye the tear shatters the shard before it can hit the ground. Grieving for Kanna, Flora explains to the group that Kanna didn't want to die.

( end of flashback)

Flora cries softly " I couldn't save them ..." flora picks up both objects and puts them away under her bed ."
She then lays back down on her bed .
" so that's it your just going to give up " flora then jolts up from the bed and sees inyuasha at the edge of her bed .

" I'm so useless.." Flora whispered. " you'll be better off with out me ."

" that's not true and you know it ! You're just scared !" Inyuasha say to her as she gasp and looked down .
" so what if I am ! Naraku already got what he wanted and because of my selfishness me and my friends lost our powers! " flora yells hurt and angrily .

Inyuasha scoffed. " well your right about one thing if you give up now you are selfish that means everything was for nothing so what if you lost your powers so did the rest of your friends but you don't see them whining so shut up and pick your self back up because god dammit Flora I hate seeing you like this I already lost kikyo.... I can't lose you too ." Inyuasha admitted sadly.

Flora stares at him and realizes he was right ... " I'm sorry ." She whispered.

Inuyasha says she should have just came back to the Feudal Era

however, she defends her decision to stay because of kagome has stuff to finish here in the modern world .

Flora then says Inuyasha should go back she then adds he'll probably visit at hot spring with Miroku and Sango .flora feeling left out because she got back to the she decided to stay home instead of going out with her friends and kagomes family.

Inuyasha assures her that he isn't going to a hot spring.

Flora laughs at his response which causes him to smile " I missed that ."
" what?"
" hearing your laugh." He responds back as she blushes he then realized what he said and looked away Also .

Flora then wonders if she'll get her powers back making Inuyasha think about her well-being he asks her if she likes being in kagomes home era wondering if she would staying here until Naraku is defeated.

Flora feels his forehead, thinking Inuyasha has a fever only for him to protest in anger.

He explains his reasons but to no avail; flora wants to keep fighting. Inuyasha responds by promising to protect her with his life.
