Just a warning for this chapter and future chapters as well! Mitansh's reaction is exaggerated and so is Kabir's and Vatsal's reaction, to add humor. I love overprotective big brothers, lol :)
It's been a couple of years since Kabir has joined RIA. Like every other agent, he had undergone his training period for almost a year before joining a team.
He has always been a promising agent, living for the sole purpose to serve his country. After a few years, his hard work paid off and he was given the honor of becoming a Commanding Officer of a unit.
Kabir is a reputed Commander in the agency. His presence alone commands an air of authority and respect among the agents.
And to think that his brother goes around spreading rumors of having a pregnant girlfriend. Kabir doesn't want to imagine what would have happened if the people in the agency knew that Falcon is none other than his brother.
Like a parent in a parent's teacher meeting, Kabir would have to sit down in front of the whole department while they bring Aakrith's complaints to him. Yep. He is sure of it!
Mitansh has woken up in a couple minutes. He is sitting on the bed and murmuring things like 'my sweet baby ko...still young...having a baby?'
Kabir's stern gaze falls on Aakrith, who nervously looks away. Aakrith has been trying to calm Mitansh but Mitansh refuses to listen to him.
"Bhai..." Aakrith tries again but Mitansh interrupts him.
"You, y-you are still a teenager." Mitansh keeps taking small breaths in between, still trying to process. "How did that even happen?"
Aakrith smirks mischievously, not leaving the chance to tease his brother. "You know bhai, generally when a boy and girl date.."
"Aakrith!" Kabir warns him. "Just don't!" His brother is unbelievable.
"What? He is the one who asked me the question." Aakrith defends himself. He covers his head with a pillow when Kabir leans forward to whack him.
"But, shouldn't she ask us," Mitansh says, pointing at Kabir, Vatsal and himself. "Before dating you?"
"I totally agree." Vatsal agrees, crossing his arms over his chest. Kabir closes his eyes, resting his head on the headboard, already tired of everything.
"Bhai, it's not that," Aakrith begins but Mitansh starts rambling again.
"I'm telling you, she is trying to steal you away from us. And you are still a kid, baby ko. How could you date? You still have a lot of things in life to achieve."
"Of course, I know..."
"And she is pregnant, how would you take care of a kid when you are not mature enough to take care of yourself..."
Aakrith looks helplessly at Kabir, silently pleading for help. Kabir simply shrugs him off, indicating, 'You started the rumor, now you handle it.'
"Please tell me that you both are staying in different rooms. Oh my god! What if you get another kid." Mitansh screams, having a panic attack.
"Bhai!" Aakrith moves his hand, gently cupping Mitansh's cheeks. He holds onto his face, urging him to pay attention. "I. Don't. Have. A. Girlfriend."
"But you just said.."
"It was just a rumor which I started in the agency. I really don't have a girlfriend. Please calm down. You are panicking for no reason." Aakrith feels a little guilty for worrying him. He never thought Mitansh bhai would actually take this seriously.
