Happy crying!

"Why is he taking so much time?" Vatsal asks Mitansh, a bit impatiently.

Mitansh silently grips the steering wheel tighter. Aakrith is taking his sweet time to get back here. There is no way his brother can suspect anything. Right?

But what if he did?

Since Aakrith is a secret agent now, he is more alarmed than before. Mitansh is scared that Aakrith has already figured out that Kabir wants them gone. That's why Aakrith went back home.

Shaking his head, he looks at Vatsal. "Let's go back. He is making us late!"

When Miatnsh and Vatsal enter the house, they run towards the kitchen on hearing a slap noise. Mitansh's heart pounds against his chest as they hear some yelling as well. Never in their life they had expected to see the sight in front of them.

Raghav had slapped Aakrith. And Kabir had reached just in time to save their brother from getting another slap.

Kabir looks back at Mitansh and Vatsal, glad that they are already here. He nods at Mitansh, gesturing both of them to take care of Aakrith while he deals with the man who is standing in front of him.

Kabir grabs Raghav by his collar and asks him. "What is he talking about, dad?" Kabir points at Aakrith. "What did he mean by 'selling him to those men'. You did something to him, right?"

Aakrith blinks back his tears, his heart starts beating wildly. No, this can't be happening. His baba is not supposed to know. Everything will fall apart.

"Baba, jaane dijiye na. It is just a small misunderstanding..."

"No, Aakrith. Not now!" Kabir cuts him off. Aakrith and his dad both are hiding something, something that he is not aware of. And he will intend to find out. He will not listen to anyone today.

"Baba please..."

"I said, not now, Aakrith." Aakrith immediately goes silent at the firm tone. Raghav is taken aback, watching this. Just a minute ago the boy was yelling at him. But he is not yelling to Kabir. Why does he always obey Kabir and not him?

"What did you do dad?" Kabir asks again, when Raghav doesn't reply.

Raghav winces visibly, his eyes turn into remorse as he looks at Kabir. "I'm sorry, son. I did it for you. I did it to save you."

His father's answer only makes Kabir mad even more. He pulls on the shirt's collar and slams his father on the wall. "Usually I'm very patient, dad. But you don't wanna know what happens if I lose my patience. So I'm asking you for the last time. What. Did. You. Do."

The old man flinches, not because he is slammed against the wall, but at the cold voice from his beloved son. Kabir's icy stare and clenched jaw is enough to demand the answers he needs and Raghav finds himself speaking automatically.

"Whatever he said is true. He was not kidnapped. I had sold him to those men."

Kabir's hands tremble uncontrollably as if someone has sent a shockwave to his body. His grip on the collar loosens and his eyes widen in horror. His little baby brother, who had been raised with nothing but love from them, was sold off.
