Luminara didn't reply. Maybe if she didn't do anything for five minutes straight her mother would come back. Luminara could hear Aral's footsteps against the moist soil, she crouched down beside her and wrapped her arm around Luminara's back, gently stroking her. Horus's raspy breathing chimed in.
"Who's that?" He said. Aral suddenly had what sounded like a rap battle in some ancient language with Horus, Luminara looked up to watch them fight.
"So sorry about him" Aral said. Luminara sighed and stood up.
"We're in the Celestial garden. A safe haven among the stars. Every plant imagined is in this very garden" Luminara said.
"We're in the celestial realm?! Oh~ It's been so long" Aral said, she wanted to be happy, but knew it wasn't the mood.
"My mother- She said there's a safe haven that bends in it's own realm, neither in the mortal or celestial realm. Any being has access to it if they know the route" She explained.
"So if we get there, we're safe- right?" Aral questioned.
"If we get there, we can prepare to fight against Nocturnis." Luminara hissed.
"I like this girl" Horus smirked "Well then, I'll stick by you, just tell me what we have to do" Aral said, smiling at Luminara. She couldn't help but smile back. Luminara yanked her map from Aral's tote bag, which is draped over Aral's shoulder.
"Huh?! Wait- Oh yeah thats the Otherworld Map! Fancy~" Aral purred. Luminara unrolled the map and watched as it floats above.
"This is where we need to get to" She pointed at the corner of the map, at the cursive words 'Sanctuary' .
"The map shall guide us, as unfortunately I have literally- No idea on how to get there" Luminara said.
Horus broke into a hearty laugh and Aral cussed in another ancient language. His emotions quickly swung and he looked seriously offended.
"We should begin packing resources and getting ready. Please do try to dress up casually, keep your celestial robes in any bag you have incase we need to change" Luminara instructed. Aral nodded and Horus sighed.
"Hah! With what money?" Horus chuckled. "Let's rob the bank!" Aral suggested.
"No- we aren't robbing anything" Luminara said. She examined her map, looking for a clear path. She glanced up to find Aral gone. Luminara sighed and glanced down at her map.
"Too late!" Aral laughed. The next second later she glanced up and Aral was back in front of her, carrying multiple guns and bags filled to the brim with money. What in the-
" 'What- what did you do?' I get thats what you're thinking, trust me nobody got hurt" Horus chuckled.
Luminara sighed, she couldn't do anything but be proud of her.
"Get a reasonable amount, like a handful of the money and let's get going to the mortal realm" She said, minimizing her staff and prepared the transportation ritual.
"Luminara- Wait!-"
Aral and Luminara were currently stuffed into a changing room.
"I'll go pick out some things for us, in the meantime stay here and stay safe- I'm sure if anybody saw Horus they'd freak out and report us" Luminara asked, Aral nodded in response. Luminara left the changing room and walked around the store.
"Why don't the shorts have a hole for me?!" Horus shouted.
"I don't know! Maybe because the mortal realm doesn't have any people with annoying brainless snakes glued to their butts!" Aral countered.
