Chapter 19: Dinnertime

"Luminara?" Horus called out.

"Lumi?!"

"Wake up!"

"Can you do CPR Horus??"

"WHAT?! What do you mean 'cAn yOu dO cPr HoRuS'"

"DO YOU WANT HER DEAD OR ALIVE?!"

"FINE-"

Luminara coughed up water before Horus got near, every word she heard seemed to sound clogged in water and muffled. "What?- What's going on?!" Luminara said, sitting up. She found herself wearing her celestial robes from before, and a towel was wrapped around her shoulders. Her neck was bleeding.

"Well, we woke up like 10 minutes ago, and you suddenly just disappeared. Me and Horus were very responsibly looking around for you- and totally 100% not goofing around, and Horus fell into the pool and found some weird vent open, Horus technically doesn't have lungs, neither do I, but I don't like getting in water, and Horus somehow does. Eughh. Anyways, he found your body floating around some empty cage underwater, pulled you up. I tried doing the heart pump thing but that didn't work out, and Horus was about to do CPR until you woke up all on yourself! Good on you Lumi!" Aral explained.

The cage wasn't empty.

"Wait- who changed my clothes?!" Luminara asked, getting up and brushing herself off. The area suddenly fell silent. "Okay- What time is it?!" Luminara asked. "Well it's 15 minutes until dinner with Clarinet" Aral answered. "15 MINUTES?!" Luminara panicked, running towards the three wardrobes that was placed on the left side of the room, each wardrobe was labelled. "Lumi! Wait! I wanna dress you up this time, since you picked my clothing before" Aral said. I suppose it would be interesting to see her fashion tase. Oh! Speaking of fashion taste, Aral was wearing her old ancient Egyptian outfit from before the shopping spree, Horus hadn't particularly changed that much but his hair was wet.

Aral quickly ran over to a box placed conveniently under her bed, and grabbed what looked like multiple layers of clothing, she ten handed Luminara the clothes, and quickly pushed her into the bathroom without a second word, she moved to look at herself in the mirror, and quickly rushed the clothing Aral gave her on.

Luminara's borrowed ensemble began with a white solid tied halter top, a garment that gracefully embraced her form. The halter top featured silky straps that crisscrossed at the nape of her neck, creating an alluring celestial silhouette and accentuating her shoulders.

The centerpiece of Luminara's attire was a long asymmetrical white skirt adorned with intricate scarab designs at the edges. The celestial scarabs, embroidered with meticulous detail, seemed to come to life as they traced divine patterns along the fabric. The asymmetry added an astral touch, creating a flowing shape that mirrored the supernatural ebb and flow of the ocean.

Luminara's wrists were adorned with white celestial bracelets crafted from lapis lazuli and gold embroidery. The lapis lazuli, with its deep celestial blue hue, complemented the luminiscent glow of her ensemble. The intricate gold embroidery added a touch of astral opulence, creating a harmonious blend of celestial elements.

Completing her celestial ensemble, Luminara wore a Usekh—a celestial collar that adorned her neck and shoulders. The Usekh, embellished with celestial symbols and intricate patterns, served as a celestial homage to ancient Egyptian tradition. Luminara's feet were adorned with sandals, their straps winding gracefully around her ankles. The sandals, with their detailed design, allowed her to move with celestial poise as she walked around the small area of the singular bathroom in their chamber.
