The darkness of the room clouded the minds present there as the strong smell of blood spreaded out in the room. The silence which silently killed the people there was knocked out with a loud blood chilling voice which can make any heart shudder but not his, the devil's. Clad in his dark formals carrying an aura which calls for obedience and a physic gathering attention there sits the lord of the dark world, a king without a crown and a devil in the skin of an angel- Abhimanyu Rawte. A name which causes shiver of pain and terror within the four walls and the guy who brings hell upon the one who dares to touch things he deem to take as his peace- his family and the one and only strength and weakness of Abhimanyu. Such was a situation at the moment. A crisis in hand and an age old enemy waiting to strike a war against him Abhimanyu must fight it without letting the news get out of the room because he was a perfectionist and perfection was indeed a myth, a pretension.
Back at the dark room, he looked back at the ticking clock and then back at the half dead man sitting in front of him. The blood dressing him and the scratches he worn gave a sick sense of pleasure to Abhimanyu but at the same time the sarcastic weary smile the person was giving was twisting something in his gut in a way which is unexplainable but at the same time equally terrifying. One thing Abhimanyu loved was his dominance and he loved to have his way in the game. So he did what seem best to him at that moment. He could not afford to loose. Losing was a sin in this world and to strive you must win all along the way. You lose once, they will make sure you lose all the while. He indicated his hench man- Adhiraj Ranawat something to which he nodded and passed the order. Abhimanyu then broke the cold ice but the moment he broke the ice a shiver rang in the bodies standing there. All the people standing there like a corpse showed the first sign of life- a cold life. Everyone except him. Adhiraj
Adhiraj had been with Abhimanyu since the time he was a child and therefore before being his henchman he was his brother. The person who was recognized as a ruthless commander was the one who supported in dark in light. The unarranged array of thoughts in his mind were broken as soon as he heard his boss repeating his question.
Abhimanyu- "Who have sent you Shukla."
Shukla-"Tch tch, I pity you Abhimanyu , either you or I will die but without you knowing who was behind me. What happen the mighty Abhimanyu Rawte bowed down in front of me.Tch Tch."
Abhimanyu looked at him carefully reading through his action. He sighed as he realised that the man would be of no use. A man who was too loyal to be at fault, no family background of his and who no bone of greediness and someone whom he can't pursue in any way was of his no use.
Abimanyu stood up from the chair as some people came near Mr Shukla carrying a large utensil. He indicated them to keep it down before taking that man almost broken limb and dipping it into the utensil- filled with very hot oil mixed with spices. He left him the moment he heard blood curling shout.
Smirking evilly-"Sahab toh kasrat kar kar ke thak gaye honge, make sure hum unka ache se seva kar de afterall Atithi Devo Bhava." saying he left the room followed by Adhiraj and some guards and the last thing he heard was some screams before he closed the door because secrets should be secrets. He don't believe in killing, he hates to make his hand dirty also he believes that living in pain was worse than a death and he wanted the person to feel the pain.He walked of into the car as the sound of heavy footsteps echoed in the empty space.
The moment he sat in the car his phone rang off bringing the first smile of the day on his face. A smile on his otherwise stoic face making him more of a human. He took the call without a further delay. Adhiraj who was driving the car sitting beside him smiled as a cheery young voice rang out in the car.
?- "Bhaiya."
Abhimanyu-"Bol Bhaiya ki jaan"
?-"Aap kaha ho bhaiya, aur aap ke bache ko uthane bhi nahi aaye aap, pata hai kitna miss kiya maine apko. Hmm.
Abhimanyu-"Beta Devansh, app 7 ghanto say toh soh rahe ho aur usse pehle toh main milne aya tha na phir kab miss karne ka bhi time mila tujhe bata."
Devansh-"Are par sone se pehle aur ab tak main saath ghante bhaiya, saath ghanto ka fark hai, itna time toh maine ap ko miss kiya na."
Abhimanyu-"Acha itna miss kiya mere bache ne mujhe"
Devansh-"Ha aur nahi toh kya, ap toh bina bataye hi chale gaye. Huh. Aisa bhi koi karta hai kya."
Abhimanyu-"Are bapre bhaiya ka pyara bacha unse itna sara gussa hai."
Devansh looked up at his door to see his brother leaning on the door frame smiling at him. Without a second thought he ran up to his brother and literally jumped upon him like a koala bear. Abhimanyu had to catch the door frame to avoid the fall. He was about to scold him for running around -
When a sudden stop of the car forced Abhimanyu out of his reverie. He looked around only to realise he was back home and he was dreaming the scene whole time... yet again. He just left without any words to a average looking homely apartment. Adhiraj sighed the moment Abhimanyu left the car. This was the same from the past six years. He don't know what his bhai was thinking but he could see him slowly breaking apart and that did not sit well with him. The fact that from six years he have not stepped in his mansion because that place held their memories was a testament to the fact how much he was hurt. Adhiraj sighed again before leaving to his house.
