Silence
Pure silence has occupied the air as he sat on the chair gazing at his brother who was hell bent on giving him heart attacks. Why are they so eager to test his patience, Abhimanyu wondered. Can't they keep their calm and stand at one place rather than acting so eager to get into trouble. He leaned in front before pulling his brother in his arms and placing a kiss on his hairs trying to calm his still racing heartbeats down. This was the second time they were at the hospital and he was not even liking the fact. He silently promised himself that he will make sure that no one comes back to this place for at least the next five years. He caressed his brother's hair silently urging him to wake up soon. He looked over only to see another one sitting on the couch lost in the sea of fear and worry and he showed him his hands signing him to come and pulled him into a calm hug once he came. All three of them stayed in that hug trying to make themselves believe they are fine they would always be fine at the end of the day.
The brothers looked over when they heard the door being opened only to see a panicking Avantika who rushed towards them the moment she saw them.
"Yeh sab kaise hua Mannu" she concernedly asked him as Abhimanyu moved away to give her space. She peppered her boys' face with kisses trying to calm herself down. She looked up once again when she calmed down. Abhimanyu gently took her out to talk not before signing his brother to handle it there who just nodded his head.
"Yeh sab kaise hua bacha" She again repeated her question fearing an answer from him. Abhimanyu sighed as remembered what had happened when the gun rang.
The brothers were in a hug when all three of them were Kabir pulling out the gun and shooting on them. Instinctively Atharv being the stupid he was came in front of both. He closed his eyes ready to take the hit but once again the bullet didn't hit him. He opened his eyes and looked at Vaibhav who bore the burnt as the bullet touched his shoulder. As promised his friend never let the hurt reach them. As much as he was grateful for his actions he had feared his safety at that moment. That was the same time when Atharv lost his consciousness owing to stress, dehydration and fear. They brought them there and did their treatment but presently both of them were sleeping due to sedatives. All of them were safe in conclusion and that was good news he got in a while. But he didn't know whether he should be happy about this but Adhiraj found out where Mrs. Rawte was and she was taken to jail for an attempt to murder but Kabir was still free on loose. That was something which was worrying him but at that moment Abhimanyu didn't even want to take tension on that. For now he just wanted to be with his family and to live in that one moment. And he was determined to make the best of it.
Atharv looked around the room, bored. He had gotten up from his sleep for three hours now and everyone was making a huge mess of it. No one was even allowing him to move a little. He could very well see that the coming days were going to be harsh on him. When he got up his first reaction was to cringe at the fact that he was back at this place. That moment he felt like plucking his hairs out for coming back to this obnoxious place again. He even tried to convince them of a discharge but all he got was a glare. His mother was with him all the time too scared for him, their bhaiya scared but silent too was there with him but he could feel a little frustration oozing out of him. His Big-B was no different. Both of them were giving him silent treatment confusing him. He saw their bhaiya taking their mother out of the room to make her have lunch and decided to cash the opportunity.
He looked over only to see his Big-B scrolling through the phone keeping his silence. Sending a prayer to god he decided to take the horns of the bull directly.
"Big-B" he silently called out but lost the courage to speak further when he saw his own eyes staring back at him. He never thought his own eyes could worry him someday.
