The next day was like a dream for Atharv. From the midnight he was getting surprises back to back. In the midnight he was harshly shook in to awake and he sacredly looked around only to see his brother's there with a cake standing there a smile crowning their ever charming faces. He looked at his mother vexed only to see her chuckling. Never before was he shook harshly when he was sleeping.
"Happy Birthday Mera Bacha" Avantika gently wished him sitting on the bed and he leaned into her motherly embrace. He was glad that it was mother who wished him first. She was the one who did that all through the years and he was low key scared if she couldn't be able to do that. He can't blame his brothers for being the excited one as they were celebrating it for the first time. But he was glad they understood.
"Happy birthday Baby Bro" Devansh squealed like a happy kid wishing him next and Atharv smiled he was coming to like that name for him a lot.
"Thank you Big-B" Atharv gratefully replied and looked back over their bhaiya. Abhimanyu came forward and side hugged him.
"Happy Birthday Beta may god fulfill all your wishes" Abhimanyu wished making Atharv more happier than he was.
"Acha chal ho gaya na hi hello ab cake kat" the impatient one of the lot Devansh exclaimed changing the emotional environment entirely.
"Calm down itni bhi kya jaldi hai kar raha hai na woh" Abhimanyu exclaimed rolling his eyes at him but sighed when Atharv came forward to defend Dev.
"Are aap unhe kya keh rahe ho wo galat kya keh rahe hai cake katana padega na aap lavo mumma let me cut it" Atharv defended Dev before turning around to Avantika and taking the cake from her hand and placed it on the bed. He gave a look at it and wondered what went wrong with the cake. The cake looked all good but the icing was messed up.
"Yeh kya hai cake ko dohra lag gaya kya" Atharv joked and Abhimanyu sighed in distress.
"Didn't I say ki aap hi karlijye bigad gaya na ab toh yeh" Abhimanyu spoke out slowly a bit sadly but it changed into concern when he saw tears in Atharv's eyes.
"Yeh aapne banaya hai bhaiya" Atharv tearfully asked and Abhimanyu nodded thinking he didn't liked that.
"Aur yeah leaves maine banaye hai" Dev chirped in. He was feeling left out between all the over sentimental pipes which can be turned on without any plans. He clearly left out the part that he was no different than them.
"Thanks this was my best birthday gift bhaiya I don't care about the design or taste par yeh mera favorite birthday cake hoga for sure" Atharv said slowly and Abhimanyu smiled at him feeling the need to shed some drops.
"Of course acha toh hoga maine wo leaves design kiya tha" the excited voice of Devansh brought a chuckle out of everyone. That boy could never let anyone stay in an emotional moment apparently.
"Ha Big-B sirf aap ke design ke wajah se yeh acha bana hai" Atharv joked and the chuckle turned into a full blown laughter.
"Are ab kat bhi de baba phir sone bhi jana hai" Avantika yawned as he said and Atharv nodded before Atharv cut the cake. They sang the birthday song and went back to sleep or more like Avantika went to sleep and Dev and Abhimanyu n their younger prince's request slept with him.
If only he knew that was the beginning of the wonderful day. A bunch of surprises and a happy time followed the midnight event. The morning arti was the special one, one which none of the brothers would ever forget.
All the brothers were dressed up in traditional wear hands joined together praying together. Avantika who had the thaal with her passed on to the boys.
