"Hey Momma" I sighed walking into my parents house my mom was in the living room making a flower arrangement

"Who this for?" I asked placing my bag on their chair "Eloise, Her husband died last night" I nodded, Eloise is our neighbor she's been in this neighborhood just as long as my parents

"How he die?" I asked sitting down "Heart attack in his sleep"

"Damn" I mumbled "Riley!" I yelled calling for her she was in this house somewhere "Where you coming from?" My mom asked

"Pilates, as always" I rolled my eyes my mother chuckled "Well how about you go get a job, you got your sports medicine degree and for what?" My mom continued to focus on her flower arrangement I rolled my eyes

"Cause Caine don't want me working"

"Well Caine don't run you sweetheart" My mom shook her head "He pays all the bills and groceries, everything. The least I can do is respect his wishes" I shrugged

"Okay but are you happy?"

"No"

"Then I suggest you guys come up with a different comprise before that turns into something else" My mom suggested I nodded "Riley!" I called again expect louder this time

"She's coming" My father walked in with her in his arms he treated her like she was his actual granddaughter

"Look T! Dada gave me candy" The two year old spoke clearly I smiled "Oh yeah?" I picked her up allowing her to sit on my lap

"Daddy why you give her candy now she gon be up all night" I dead faced him he shrugged "Not my problem, my job is to keep babygirl happy"

I rolled my eyes chuckling my father came up to me kissing my cheek "How was your day?"

"Good, just the usual" I shrugged he nodded "You had work today?"

"Nope" He walked over to my mom pecking her lips causing me to smile I loved seeing my parents so in love

"Mm so you been spoiling this little girl all day huh" I began tickling Riley she laughed hard making me smile I loved this little girl so much and she looked just like her daddy

"You know I have to spoil my first granddaughter" My father chuckled making me roll my eyes

"Go get your shoes pumpkin" I put Riley down she ran to the front door putting her shoes on "Caine wanted me to give you this momma"

I pulled out a white envelope with hundreds inside "I don't want his money chile, he don't need to pay us to take care of our grandbaby"

"If you don't take it he gon pay y'all bills momma" I sighed shaking my head she shrugged "I'm not taking his money Tiana" I rolled my eyes

"Daddy you want it?" I waved the envelope over to him he shook his head

"What your mother says goes" He lifted up his right hand I smacked my lips "Whatever" I stuffed the envelope back in my purse

"I finished T" Riley came back over to me with her shoes on but they were on the wrong feet, we all laughed as I picked her up putting her shoes on the right foot

"What y'all doing for stinka butt birthday" My mom pinched Riley cheek making her smile "She wants to go to disneyland"

I tied both shoes putting her down she ran off towards my dad, she was such a daddy's girl whether it was her Daddy or mine

"Babymomma okay with that?" My mom asked I sighed "I don't know, I may need to call her cause Caine hates speaking to her unless it's about picking her up" I pointed to Riley my mom shook her head
