A month later...

"Hey pumpkin, where ya daddy?" I asked as I held a bag of food in my hands "In there" Riley pointed to his office I nodded walking over into that direction

Me and Caine have really been building our friendship in the past month, I talked him and express to him that if we were going to try us again we had to attend therapy

He was a little leery at first but he eventually agreed, We hadn't started our therapy yet due to us solely focusing on our friendship

Which had been great, I knocked on the dark wooden door "Yur" I heard Caine, I twisted the door knob opening the door

"Hey" I smiled walking over to his desk and putting the bag of food down "Wassup T, this fa me?" He looked at the food then me

"Yes it's your favorite" I smiled ushering him to look inside the bag, he looked inside his eyes widening "Nah you made this for me?" He grabbed the container that held his favorite pasta

"Yesss" I dragged smiling sitting on one of his chairs "Damn I appreciate this T, me and Ri was just finna go get sum"

"Speaking of my baby"

"Riley!" I yelled I heard her little footsteps running into the office "Yes" She ran into my lap, I lifted her letting her sit on me

"You hungry pumpkin?" I asked pulling the other container towards me, Riley nodded kicking her feet

I grabbed a fork from the bag handing it to her allowing her to eat, I looked up towards Caine seeing his eyes were already on me

"Daddy, can we go shopping?" Riley asked forcing him to break eye contact with me "Yeah babygirl, yo momma gotchu like a shopaholic already" Caine chuckled making her smile "I want new toysss!"

"You can get whatever you want babygirl" Caine reassured her "You so spoiled" I pinched her cheek causing her to laugh and move away from my touch

"So, I'm havin this kickback on Friday"

"Mmm, for what?" I asked as I ate some
of the pasta myself "Just to see my people in one setting" I nodded

"You gon be free?" Caine asked me "Yeah I should be" I made eye contact with Caine, he nodded smirking

"What are you up to Caine" I squinted my eyes at him "Nothing bro, just happy you said yes"

I rolled my eyes "You act like I don't come to every party you have"

"Yeah but with you, you always keep me on my toes"

I chuckled shaking my head "So dramatic"

"Tyrique!" I yelled as I walked into his house "In my gaming room!" He yelled back, I dropped my bag and took off my shoes before I jogged up the stairs

"Hey baby" I spoke in a high pitch tone kissing Tyrique he turned his head to peck my lips "Wassup
mama" I sat in his lap wrapping my arms around his neck

"Nothing, how was your day?" I asked as he continued to play the game "Shit good just made a couple runs and now I'm chillin with Caine"

"Hey Caine" I looked at my nails as I spoke into Ty's mic "He said wassup"

"Okay when you're done can we talk?" I asked "Shut up nigga" Ty spoke into his mic before putting his attention on me

"Yeah baby, did I do sum?"

"No just need to have a conversation about something" He nodded "Alright imma be off in like 10"

"Okay" I stood up walking away from him and exiting the room, I made my way into his room
