Opening Day...

"Nah man I need that box right there" I pointed to the area where I wanted the box Tyrique huffed rolling the jewelry box to where I wanted it

I sighed looking around the store seeing everything put together and finished, I was proud of myself for finally turning my life around for not only my daughter but for me

I won't lie I do miss the streets and the adrenaline I got on a daily basis but that lifestyle is no longer fitting for me, I have a child that depends on me

I can't just think about myself anymore, "Baby will you sit down" My mother touched my arm I shook my head

"Nah I gotta make sure everything is perfect" I continued to fix the smallest things making sure everything was perfect in my store

"Caine, Everything looks great now go sit down chile" My mother shooed me away I walked over to one of the many chairs that were place throughout the store

I pulled out my phone calling Janiesha, she answered within three rings immediately giving the phone to Riley

"Wassup babygirl"

"Hi daddy"

"What you doin"

"Me and mommy are going shopping" Riley smiled making me smile "Oh yeah? what y'all gettin"

"Some clothes and shoes!"

"How you already care about clothes and shoes you only three baby"

"Three in a half daddy" Riley corrected me "Okay my fault princess" I chuckled from the sass she just gave me her momma was rubbing off on her

The phone went back to Janiesha face "What time you want her?" She asked as she focused on the road "About 3? I want her to be here for when I cut the ribbon" I checked my watch Janiesha nodded

"Alright I'll drop her off around 2:40"

"Say bye to yo daddy" She pointed the camera back to Riley "Bye daddy!" Riley waved I smiled "Bye babygirl"

I hung up the phone sighing, I had at least two hours before the opening began I need something to calm me down

I walked around my room getting ready, I was singing along with my playlist as I put together some outfits

Caine's store opening was today and I was more than excited for him, he was turning over a new leaf opening a new chapter to his book and I couldn't be more proud

Prom- SZA started to play, I softly sung along the song as I placed the outfits against my body deciding which one was best for the occasion

I decided to go with the long gray skims dress I just recently got, it was fairly warm outside so it was the perfect outfit to wear today

I sat the dress down finding the shoes to wear with the dress

"Hmmm sandals or clear heels?" I asked myself sighing as I stared at the shoes in deep thought

"Clear heels" I smiled grabbing the heels setting them next to the dress then going into my bathroom and starting on my makeup
