Two weeks later...

"You hungry T?" Trinity asked as I walked into the kitchen "No" I shook my head going into her fridge to grab myself a water

"Another interview?" She asked looking at my attire I nodded "Yep" I sighed "Nobody told me it was this hard to find one job"

It's been two weeks since me and Caine officially broke up and I've been staying with Trinity just to get myself together

I could've lived with my parents but I didn't want to be there truthfully they would just be telling me everything and anything to work out things with Caine

That was not happening, at least right now. Since the breakup I've been trying to find a job that was within my degree that I got about three years ago

This shit was hard like how is it hard for someone to figure out whether they like you or not, or to even call you back to let you know if you got the job or not

Caine cut all ties to me, including my funds and even changing the locks to our house well now his house

He still made sure to keep funding my parents especially when they were taking care of his child but when it came to me he cut off all ties

Did it bother me? Yes but what did I expect not much really

"Well I hope you get this one" She smiled at me I smiled back nodding, The front door opened and Ty came walking in with flowers in his hand I chuckled looking over to Trinity she rolled her eyes

She stopped what she was doing walking over to him "Thank you" She took the flowers from his hand he wrapped one arm around her waist "You good?"

"Yes Tyrique, why are you here?" She tilted her head at him, I grabbed my things making my exit I didn't want to be around when those two started hunching

"Wassup T" Ty acknowledged me as I walked past them "Hey Ty" I smiled leaving the house all together I walked down the porch steps making my way to my car

I opened the door looking down the corner my eyes searching for that familiar face and I did just that

Caine was chatting it up with some female all up in his face while his other friends stood around him smoking and talking

I squinted my eyes at the two, he was full blown entertaining the conversation I rolled my eyes getting into my car

"Niggas never change" I started up my car driving off, I've yet to run into KiKi the bitch that had her ass in my nigga's face

The minute I catch her ass it's up, I don't take disrespect lightly neither from my man or a bitch

"Daddy!" Riley yelled as I picked her up "Wassup baby girl" I kissed her cheeks a couple times as I walked further into Tiana's parents house

"Wassup OG" I dapped up Tiana dad "Wassup witchu, look at you all blinged out and shit" Pops chuckled I smirked shrugging

"This ain't shit, I could have you like this Pops" I lifted up the chain I had on he shook his head "Nah, my wife don't like all the bling bling shit"

I nodded looking around the house "Man every time I see y'all two together it's like seeing twins" I heard Tiana's mom voice I shifted my eyes to her she was walking out the kitchen I smiled

"Hey momma"

"Hey baby how you doing?"

"Man takin it day by day" Her parents knew exactly what was going on with me and Tiana but they stayed out of it, not wanting to choose sides
