It's been about three weeks since I had my last heat. It was intense and I really enjoyed it. Not that heats are enjoyable but they are when you have a mate to help satisfy you. Since then, Xichen and I have been enjoying ourselves. Even though we are trying for a baby, we just gave in to letting Mother Nature take control. To think that the Lan Pack has such strict training so alphas are never swayed by omegas, but now that Xichen is with me, his is a beast. Though I have to admit I enjoy it a lot.

At the moment, I was sitting with him with Lan Qiren and the other pack elders about the issue with my old village as well as the Jin pack. Knowing the issues happening there, they were trying to find solutions to help. There were so many omegas that have been marked by Jin Guangshan's and he doesn't care one bit how many he has. From what I do know though, after the death of Yu Ziyuan, Jiang Fengmian from the Jiang pack got his true mate, which happens to be Jin Guangshan's first mate and wife, Madam Jin. I guess she finally left him and went to be with Sect Leader Jiang.

These meeting with the pack elders only happens about once or twice a month, so they have a luncheon meeting and eat while the meeting took place. I was sitting next to Xichen as I was expected to for being his Luna, but the moment the food was served I felt queasy, even lightheaded and dizzy. The smell of the meal seemed as though it was rotten even though it wasn't.

I instantly grabbed Xichen's hand and closed my eyes, willing the bile in my throat to go away, "Hey, you okay?" He asked.

I shook my head slightly but it was enough to set me over the edge. I immediately stood up and left the room. I ran to the nearby trees that led to the backhills and threw up. This has never happened before, but I just think I was getting sick. I stood up straight and leaned against the tree to steady myself for a moment and placed my hands on my stomach.

"Xingyue?" Xichen asked as he made his way over to me, "what is wrong?"

I shook my head, "just feeling a bit sick," I told him, "I know I am supposed to be at the meeting but, is it alright if I go home to rest?"

"Of course, I will have to go back for a moment but I will meet you shortly," he said, "did you want to meet with healer Horacio?"

"I suppose I can stop over there first," I said, "I'll let you know what he says."

"Alright," Xichen said and placed a kiss on my forehead before heading back to the meeting.

I sighed and went to the infirmary. Luckily Healer Horacio was available at the moment to examine me, "what seems to be the issue?" He asked kindly.

"I just wanted to make sure I am not coming down with anything. I threw up not long ago and I am a bit nauseated and fatigued," I told him.

"Alright Luna, let's check you over," he said. He did a quick check up before checking my vitals. His lips curved into a smile, "I think I know what the issue is."

"Am I okay?" I asked.

"You are, you finally achieved what you were wanting," he said, "congratulations Luna, you are pregnant," he said.

My mouth dropped open, "p-pregnant, are you sure?" I asked.

"One hundred percent," he said, "let me do a little bit more of a thorough examination to see if I can determine how far along you are."

"If you must know, my last heat was three weeks ago," I told him.

"Have you been sexually active since?" He asked.

I blushed and cleared my throat, "a couple times."

He laughed, "well let me check," I watched as he sent through some spiritual energy. It only took a couple minutes before he spoke, "you are about that far along, three weeks. He said. As you know it will be rough for the first trimester as it is when you are most prone to morning sickness. Let me get you a supplement for you."

I nodded and waited. I smiled and placed my hand on my stomach. I was so happy. I didn't want to mess this pregnancy up so I was going to do everything I could to be careful. After taking the supplement, I was able to go on my way. Xichen happened to return to the Hanshi around the same time I did.

"Hey," he said and walked me inside, "what did Horacio say?"

I smiled, "it finally happened, Xichen, I am pregnant," I said as tears of happiness filled my eyes.

He smiled and pulled me into a hug, "we are going to be parents," he said.

I stepped back for a moment as he had his arms around me, "yeah," I said, "I know we to tell the others but will you be okay if I tell my mother first?"

"As she is visiting in a couple days, we can tell her," he said, "I'm sure you'd be okay if I tell Wangji, right?"

I nodded, "I am."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him down to kiss me. Not long ago I was so upset about not getting pregnant and now that I am, I am more than happy. Having a child is the best way to solidify your claim to your mate. Though marking and mating is just as important but a child will definitely help. The only issue is that it can bring out jealousy and other issues.

I pulled away as my mind was now going a million miles a second, "Xichen, when this gets out, will I be a target in any way?" I asked, "I am already in slight danger from my old village."

"You are protected with me beside you," he told me, "I will do everything in my power to assure your safety. You and our child...or children if there is more than one in there."

I giggled, "hey, slow down, I am just happy that we have one on the way. We will be busy with expanding the Hanshi and adding a nursery."

"We will, and I will let you come with me to meet the keepers to discuss plans," he said.

"Also, as I was already a handful before I was pregnant, I apologize in advance for what is to come," I told him.

He laughed, "I will be prepared. You can't be any worse than how A'Xian was."

"You told me some stories about his pregnancy...did he really give Wangji that hard of a time?" I asked.

"A little, but Wangji would do it all over again in a heartbeat...and I'd do the same for you," he said, "whatever you need, tell me."

"Okay," I said.
