"Does Jessica know the truth about you, I mean does she know about the things you've done?" Dean asked.
"No and she's not ever going to know." Sam responded firmly.
"well thats healthy." Dean sighed. Jessica watched them argue about this and their...
Medusa watched the two wander all around her maze, with no luck and she smiled. Her perch in the caves above was her sanctuary, no one would look for her there. "Foolish hunters, I didn't live this long without picking up some tricks." She laughed. The two hunters like all the rest smelled like gun powder, whiskey, leather, run down motels and salt. However the Iphiceles doppelgager also smelled like old books with a dash of sweetness. It brought a smile to face and she thought about going out to meet him. However then she remembered what would happen if they locked eyes. "I will not lose you again my Iphiceles I promise you." She declared.
An idea formed into her head and she went back through the caves to reach the labyrinth. Their voices grew louder as she adjusted the sunglasses on her face and her head piece. She looked back the the house behind her, ironic that she had managed to build one. "Maybe we are looking in the wrong place." Dean said. She held back a laugh at his words but didn't reveal herself. "If only I wasn't so hard to find." She thought to herself and with a smirk she pulled on one of her snakes. It hissed in pain but another quickly grew back to replace the one in her arms.
"My Lady how may I help you?" The snake hissed. She looked down at Sam and gestured towards hin. "You wish to eat him?" The snake asked. "No I want to get to know him, keep a close eye on him while I give myself a makeover." Medusa responded. The snake nodded and slithered off while Medusa drank a vial from her vanity table. After so long it seemed that the fates had decided to give her a break.

"Dude if I trip over one more root, someone is loosing a tooth, there's nothing here we should go. " Dean said. Sam shook his head he knew that they weren't alone and they were being watched. He couldn't explain why other than a gut feeling, and the smell of unfamiliar flower. "Dean there's something here I know it" Sam responded. "You saw those corpses nothing human could have killed those guys."
"I know that but look at this place there's..." Dean was cut off by the sound of rustling in the bushes. The brother's hunting instincts kicked in and they pulled out their guns. They gave each other a look then pulled back the bushes expecting a monster, only they saw a black flower.
"A black peony?" Sam asked. "Thats gotta be a disguise there's no way this is just a flower." "
I agree with you which is why we shouldn't touch anything." Dean said with a firm expression as Sam picked the flower. The stem that remained grew another peony grew, only this was green. "Huh its kinda cool actually." Sam commented.
"Sam we still don't know if that's dangerous." Dean cautioned. Sam paid no attention to him and placed the flower in his book for 'research'. This made Dean roll his eyes and call his little brother a nerd. "Well for sure whoever was here left this, its the only sign of life out here." Sam said. The two continued to discuss whether or not they should continue hunting. Just then there was more rustling in the bushes and Dean held out his gun to defend himself. The two expected some kind of monster to emerge yet all that slithered out was a simple green snake. Shocked and disgusted Dean tried to kill it but Sam stopped him.
"Sammy come on that snake could be poisonous!" Dean exclaimed.
"Technically it would be venomous Dean, but I don't think it wants to hurt us." Sam responded. "Oh whatever but I'm counting on your nerdiness to save us." Dean huffed. He placed his gun back and the snake looked at them with interest. Dean insisted that they just leave as whatever monster was here, must have left. This time Sam agreed and they two began walking away from the maze. They didn't get far as a winged creature from the sky attacked them. "What was that?!" Sam asked. "It looked like a giant bat, if there's a fury in here I swear this place just became my least favorite place!" Dean exclaimed.
The bat creature attacked them again and nearly snapped their necks in half with its sharp teeth. "Crap its a harpy look out!" Sam yelled. "You couldn't have said that five minutes ago!" Dean screamed back as he tried to shoot the monster down. It avoided all of Dean's bullets and mocked him by catching them and throwing them. Even the ones that hit the harpy simply just grazed it. Sam looks around for something else they could use to harm the harpy, unfortunately all he saw was more sticks. This made the Harpy laugh at them and its giant wings flapped hard, the impact knocked them off their feet. "I'm going to enjoy having you two for dinner." The harpy said.
The sound of high heels clicking against sticks and leaves made everyone stop. Sam turned to see a woman or who he thought was a woman. With a dark green dress, sunglasses, and a headpiece covering her whole head. The harpy turned away in fear which confused Sam, until a possible explanation came to him. "Well what do we have here?" She asked. The harpy gives no response and covers its eyes with its claws and wings. "If you have something to say Harpy, go ahead and say it don't let me stop you." The harpy turned away even more and the woman tsked at the monster until it flew off. She approached Sam and Dean with a smile on her face.
"Who in the world are you?" Dean asked as she helped him up. Sam narrowed his eyes and it finally came to him when he saw the snake from earlier again. "I know who you are." Sam said. "Well its good to recognized, don't worry about that harpy he won't bother as long as I'm around, most monsters wouldn't dare." She responded. "But if you know go ahead and say it." Sam found that his throat was stuck and for once in his life he hoped he was wrong. Dean asked for an explanation but Sam said nothing which made the woman laugh. "Sam come on man now its not the time to lose your head." Dean said. "Don't worry I'm used to that kind of reaction, its a pleasure to meet you two I'm Medusa." The woman responded.
