Jessica was torn between blowing up at the goddess she once admired so much. Along with blowing Athena off to find out what happened to Sam. However when she thought about all the times she didn't catch onto Sarah's identity. She felt like the goddess was mocking her by posing as a her friend and potential romantic rival. So Jessica did the only thing she could while Athena talked about what the spell could do.
"The forbidden spell was created as a way to fight Kronos in case he ever returned. But now..." Sarah got caught off guard when her former priestess got in her face. She pointed at Sam while Sarah stood there with her arms crossed.

"Fix him right now this whole forbidden spell of yours is making everyone sick!" She exclaimed. Her eyes glowed a bright green with serpent like irises. There were so many things that Jessica wished she could say to Athena. Maybe she would make things worse but anything was better than working with the so-called goddess.
"I didn't create that spell Medusa I am the one trying to fix what Poseidon has done!" Sarah screamed back.
"Its Jessica and I'm not having you use that name around me. Its because of you that I'm stuck in this whole mess!" Jessica yelled. She then shocked everyone in the room by slapping Sarah across the face. It felt good to let out her emotions on Athena after years of holding them in.

"How dare you? I am trying to help." Sarah responded. There was no mark left on her cheek and her voice was firm. It was the voice Jessica recognized from years ago at the temple. Whenever Poseidon came by or an arrogant mortal claimed to be better at something than her. Athena was a wise goddess but when someone didn't accept her advice about their flaws. She was known to use that voice as a warning. The only person to test it further was the infamous archane. Even though Jessica didn't want to risk that she felt entitled to speak her mind.
"Can you fix Sam or anyone else effected by that forbidden spell?" She asked.
There was a brief moment of regret on Sarah's face as she held her cheek.

"What's going on with Sam has nothing to do with the spell it's something else. As to spell I can only do so much there's a reason it's forbidden." Sarah responded. " look I know you hate me and you have every reason to but I'm here to help." She said. The tone in her voice seemed to change as there was no more rage. Jessica thought it might be a trick to get her to back off. However she knew that Athena wasn't one to manipulate, she was more of a mentor. Placing her hand on Sam's forehead just in case he fell off the bed she nodded a bit.
" I'll work with you for now but after we stop Poseidon I never want to see you again unless you can actually fix me." Jessica declared.

She turned away from the goddess so she see if she could sense any curses on Sam. Her newest snake the viper from the night she confessed everything to Sam, slithered onto her shoulder.
"You have a baby snake with you." Sarah commented. Jessica shrugged as she had no desire to explain any of her SA problems with her. So she just stroked her new snake's head and thought about the child in her. She had already thought about whether or not it was human, but how would the child be born. What if they hatched from an egg? She had given birth like a human but couldn't do that as a gorgon. Her eyes fell on Sam when the small green snake flicked its tongue at her.
"Its okay Strike he will be okay." She said.

"He seems healthy milady but he smells funny." Strike responded.
There was a strange scent going off Sam like his presence was changing. She couldn't understand it but wasn't sure if she should be worried.
"He smells like two people almost." Jessica said.
"Not two people the memory block in his head is breaking." Sarah answered.
"Breaking nothing in his head should be broken what did you do?!" Jessica hissed.
She didn't bother to give the goddess a chance to explain herself before storming out of the room. Sam was still out of it but saw everything and tried to stop her.
"Jessica wait!" Sam called out.

It was too late Jessica was already in the other guestroom most likely screaming into a pillow or something. The viper sighed and since snakes were sacred to Athena like owls. Strike decided to slither by her feet to be comforted since his 'mother' had left. At least for a few minutes as he decided that Sam smelled more familiar.
"She is angry." Strike said.
"She has a lot to be angry about." Sarah said.
The nearly unconscious hunter rubbed his hands through his hair as more surprises seemed to come through.
"Wait you can understand them to?" Sam asked. Sarah looked like she was about to say something but then stopped. There was too much going on and Sam just held in head in pain.

"I can understand snakes and owls its a skill all Greek deties have for their sacred animals." Sarah explained. "But not as much as Jessica can but for now you have to rest."
Sam argued his case for a few minutes before Strike sneezed causing him to fall asleep. Sarah then sighed a bit and whispered some words in Greek before giving the couple some space. Jessica still overheard them and thought about breaking a mirror to soothe her emotions.

"I can't let this happen, not again." She choked up. Her throat was dry and her eyes stung. So she threw something at the mirror in an attempt to break it. Only a few cracks appeared and it didn't make her feel better so she just cried herself to sleep. Her vision blurred even when she thought she had run out of tears. She had already lost a man she loved, she couldn't handle losing another one. In mere minutes the pillow was soaked from her tear stains. All she could recall was the terrified look on Ipchiles's face before he got thrown into the ocean. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." She cried.

Poseidon was eager to see his plan work as all of the new monsters seemed to be building his army. It wasn't like he wanted to turn anyone into a snake-like creature. Especially ones that hunger for human flesh, but Jessica had to learn her lesson. There was no other person in this world that gave him the satisfaction she did. Other girls threw themselves at him, she just played hard to get. Which was why she would be the perfect bride for him. Plus he would be able to regain his full power since his kind no longer ruled the world. His eldest son Chrysaor or Noah as he preferred interrupted his thoughts. Like always he had that corn snake around his shoulders.
"Father you asked for me." He said.

"With that snake around your neck, you remind me of your mother," Poseidon responded. The sea god let out a chuckle and turned to see Noah. There was still an edge in his voice and it was clear, he had been feeding. His snakeskin jacket still had some human blood and vegetable oil on it.
"Oh she doesn't want to see me isn't that right Felix?" Noah asked. The snake on his shoulders just hissed matching its owner's taunting expression. "She's been around these mortals too long, I don't think she will come back to us."
Poseidon tsked and clicked his tongue.
"Oh my son it only appears that way right now but I assure you. She will never want to be among humans again when we are done." Poseidon responded.

There was still a lot more he had to do as he had to lure Sam Winchester in. It wouldn't be easy the hunter was no doubt experienced. Poseidon could sense that Sam had untouched power that even a god couldn't understand. It made the sea god see Sam as a threat to his plans and his life. It seemed that forces stronger than him in Heaven and Hell had plans for him, which meant he couldn't kill the mortal. No, he had to be clever, so he needed this curse to affect Sam as well. He would have to have Noah deal with him if that didn't work, after all, who didn't love getting new powers?

The Sea god looked down at all the damage he was causing as more people became infected. He grinned as the sound of screaming and hissing filled his ears mixed with the scent of suffering.
"How long until the spell is completed?" Noah asked. Normally, we would have a few days until my brothers took notice, but I need this to be quicker." He responded. As Poseidon admired his work, he looked back at his son and made a simple demand: "Order the monsters to stop. It's time we let your mother come and find us."
