Chapter 22

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up and saw Jude wasn't next to me but I heard voices down stairs, I went to get up but my morning sickness instantly hit me, I got up and ran to the bathroom.
I threw up in the toilet and felt Someone hold my hair back, I looked up and saw Jude looking at me worried.

"You okay babe?" He asked rubbing my back and I nodded, before throwing up again. I really wasn't feeling okay, and if was my morning sickness now I fear how it will be a little later on.
I felt a lot better so I flushed the toilet and sat on the lid, "do you want anything?" Jude asked,
"Water please" I smiled weakly and he nodded running downstairs and quickly coming back up with a bottle.
"Here, do you want anything else?" He asked,
"No thank you, but Imma come down and get food in a second" I replied and he nodded.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face and changed into some old tracksuit before going downstairs with Jude, "Good morning mummy!" Jeremiah exclaimed hugging me,
"Hey my baby, how did you sleep?" I asked,
"Good thank you" he smiled and I nodded.
"Good morning Jadon" I then smiled,
"Good morning, how you feeling?" He asked and I nodded,  "much better thank you"

"You guys good with bacon rolls?" Jude asked opening in the fridge, and we all said yes,
Jude started cooking and even though I was starving the smell began to put me off,
I tried to ignore it.
"You guys still all good to go out for dinner with Vini, Rodrygo and Eduardo?" Jude asked whilst cooking.
"Yeah sounds good" Jadon smiled and I agreed. "What time?" I asked,
"We'll leave at 6:45 and get there at 7" Jude said and I nodded.

Jude then placed the food in front of me and I had a look I instantly needed to throw up again, and ran to the downstairs bathroom.

Afterwards Jude lead me upstairs and laid me in bed, "go back to sleep see if that helps, I'm going to book you an appointment soon" Jude said softly kissing my head and I smiled, "thank you, I love you Jude"
"I love you too, get some rest" he smiled back before walking out the room.

I woke up to Jeremiah giving me a hug,
"Hey my baby" I smiled,
"You okay mummy?" He asked concerned as Jude walked in the room, "I'm good thank you for asking" I smiled giving him a kiss on the head. Jude came over and joined us on the bed,
"Sorry I sent him to wake you, I booked you an appointment in an hour, that's if your well enough" he said softly feeling my forehead.
"Yeah, I feel good now, thank you Jude" I said,
"No problem, get ready and we'll leave at 13:50"
Jude replied and I nodded slowly rolling out of bed.

Jude and Jeremiah both went down stairs and I got in the shower before getting changed, I went downstairs and saw Jadon sat drawing with Jeremiah in the kitchen as Jude was putting in his coat. "Jadon offered to stay with Jeremiah" Jude smiled and I nodded, "thank you Jadon" I smiled going over and giving him a hug, "of course, good luck, I hope it goes well" he smiled hugging me back.
"Thank you, I'm sorry it's all a bit chaotic at the moment" I said,
"It's okay" I replied.

Me and Jude left he house and went to the Pregnancy clinic and was soon called in, "Hey again Jaylee" the midwife Alex smiled before turning to Jude, "and now, are you the father?" She asked, and Jude nodded shaking her hand, "nice to meet you" he smiled.

I sat down in the bed and Jude sat on the chair next to me, "so I heard you've been having really bad morning sickness" Alex asked me and I nodded, "okay, can you tell me a bit about it"
"Yeah, so every morning I throw up a lot and I feel really hot, I always feel hungry but when I go to eat I just feel sick again" I explained and she nodded taking notes.

"That's morning sickness for you" she laughed and I smiled, "I'll give you some medication, it should help you feel a bit better" she then said.
"Okay thank you" I replied,
"I'll be back in just a second" Alex smiled and I nodded.
