Chapter 23

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up really excited today as I was going to get my nails done with Maria, Katie and Luana.
I slowly sat up and I didn't feel as bad today and I guess it was the medicine helping. I walked into Jeremiah's room and saw him sat up playing with cars, "good morning JJ when did you wake up?" I asked and he shrugged making me laugh a little.
"You want to go get breakfast?" I asked and he nodded taking my hand as we walked down stairs.

I make Jeremiah some cereal and I didn't feel like eating anything as I didn't feel too good but I sat next to him as he watched this Spanish to show. Me and Jude decided it would be good for him to learn Spanish with Jude, he has already picked up a bit from his nursery and the shows he watches.

I heard a knock on the door and wondered who would be here this early so I stood up and opened it, "oh hey Jadon" I smiled, he was wearing sport clothes so I ashamed he had gone out for a run.
"Hey, sorry I forgot the spare key" he laughed,
"Don't worry about it I do it all the time" I smiled, "anyway how was your run?" I asked and he nodded, "yeah it was good thanks" he smiled.
"That's good would you like anything to eat?" I asked, "yeah but it's okay I'll make it myself don't worry" he replied.
"Thank you, even giving Jeremiah cereal made me feel sick" I laughed, "is it okay if I go get ready?" I then asked and he nodded,
"Of course"

I went upstairs and took a shower before getting changed into a grey fitted long sleeved top and some light blue jeans, I did my hair and make up before going back downstairs I saw Jeremiah playing with his toy dinosaurs in his play room and then I walked through to the living room.

"What times your flight?" I asked Jadon as I joined him on the sofa, "it's at 5, I don't want to go, Spain is so nice" he complained, "if only a Spanish team would have me because Manchester United won't"
"I mean Jeremiahs team could do with a good winger" I laughed and he laughed a little too.

"Do you think you'll leave in January?" I asked and he nodded, "I won't play other wise" he sighed, "why don't you just apologise, even if you don't mean it?" I asked.
"It's as simply as that" Jadon said shaking his head and I nodded.

"Well thank you for coming over here" I smiled,
"Of course, me and Trent have been routing for you guys since forever, he's annoyed he can't be here right now" he laughed and I smiled a bit,
"Did you tell him about Xavier?" I asked and he shook his head, "that's your business" he said and I smiled.

"Lets send a picture to him, he'll feel left out otherwise" Jadon then suggested and I nodded,
We both pulled a sad face and put 'We miss you Trent' we both started laughing and Jadon hit send but when I looked at his phone it wasn't to Trent but to a group chat, 'mission Jb + Jaylee'

"Jadon what the fuck that?" I asked as we quickly exited Snapchat, "erm nothing" he said quickly.
"Mission jb and Jaylee?" I asked and he started laughing, "it's a good name init?"
I rolled my eyes facing the other way before quickly snatching his phone, I opened the group chat and saw the whole group was on it and there was loads of pictures, the most recent one after the one me and Jadon took was a picture of me Jude walking holding hands and Jadon in the back looking all sad. "Jadon!" I exclaimed as he tried to snatching the phone back, I scrolled a little more and they had even taken mugs and made stickers of Mackayla and Xavier.

Jadon then managed to snatched the phone back and hid it away, "I can't believe you guys" I said I shocked and he just laughed. Just then we heard the door open and close again and Jude walked in the room holding Jeremiah, "hey guys what you laughing at?" Jude asked,
"Did you know that the group has a group chat without us and it called 'mission Jb + Jaylee?" I told Jude and he looked at me in shock.
"What he asked?" Looking at me and then Jadon,
"Jadon show him" I laughed and he shook his head, "it's a secret, your not supposed to know Jaylee let alone show Jude" Jadon explained Jude shook his head, "you have to show me if you showed her!" He complained and Jadon shook his head laughing.

"Please I let you stay in my house all this time, I even took you out for dinner" Jude please and Jadon gave in, "okay two minutes" Jadon sighed passing Jude the phone. He scrolled through and had pretty much the same reaction as me, and we decided to send a video to the group chat telling them hi.

I check the time and realised I had to get going to I went and made sure I was ready before saying bye to everyone. I drove to the nail salon and walked in Luana was already there and sat on a seat at the entrance, "hey girl" I smiled as she stood up and gave me a hug, "hey, I was scared I got the wrong day" she laughed and I did too.

Shortly after Maria and Ashley arrived and we took our seats at the salon, I showed the lady what I wanted and she started on my nails.
We were all talking when we heard to door open, I looked and saw makayla walking in with two other girls, "what is she doing here" I groaned and all the girls looked at me, "you know them?" Maria asked and I nodded. "The blonde one is Jude's ex" I replied and they nodded,
"Do you guys know the others, cause they seem to recognise you?" I laughed looking at their judgemental faces.

"Luana got in an argument with the tall one a while back, we were at the spa and she kept giving us dirty looks so Luana went over and had a talk with her" Ashley said.
"Yeah and don't forget when, you bumped into them at the super market and you kept throwing random stuff in the trolley so they decided to crash it into you" Marria then added and I gasped.

We kept shit talking them for a little while longer before changing the conversation and our nails were soon done. I thanked the lady and paid, as we walked out all three girls gave us dirty looks and I just smiled back at makayla smugly.
