Chapter 14

A WEEK LATER

JAYLEES POV

I didn't know how to feel today as I woke up, I was going home to see family and friends and the comfort of my bed but, Jeremiah wasn't coming back home with me and I was going to miss him like hell.

I had never been away from Jeremiah for more than 3 days, when I and Jude first broke up Jeremiah Stayed with me in England and Jude just came and visited but now he's older it's not as easy.

"You ready?" Jude asked me snapping me back into my thoughts and I nodded. He picked up my suitcase and brought it to the car as I followed him with Jeremiah holding my hand.

I was flying back with Jobe and Mark so I was glad I was going to be alone, we drove to the airport and parked the car before getting out of our stuff and walking to security. "This is the furthest we can go, safe flight guys see you soon" Jude smiled giving us all a hug.

"Bye Jeremiah, I'll miss you so much," I said trying not to cry as I crouched down to his level and he hugged me, "Bye mummy! I'll see you soon won't I?" he asked and I nodded. "of course baby, you will be having so much fun you won't even realise how quick it is" I smiled and he nodded.

"Nanny said Goodbyes aren't forever" Jeremiah then said and I nodded "She's right"
"But I didn't see her again after that!" He cried which just broke me, "I know Baby, but you'll see her again, not in a long time but you'll see her in heaven one day" I smiled whilst tears streamed down my face.
"Okay," he smiled, "Goodbye mummy!"
"Goodbye JJ" I said kissing his cheek before standing up.

Jude gave me and hug and wiped away my tears, "You alright?" he asked and I nodded looking at Jeremiah, "He'll be okay and we will call you every day" Jude assured me and I nodded hugging him again. "See you soon Jude," I said,
"Yeah see you" he smiled.

"Come on Jay our flight has been called," Jobe said placing my arm around my shoulder and leading me to the gate as we waved to Jude and Jeremiah.

We soon boarded the plane and took off, I looked down at Madrid below me, I enjoyed my time here and I knew that Jeremiah was going to enjoy it.

I unlocked the door and walked into the quiet house I checked every room to make sure no one was hidden anywhere, I don't know what I would do if I did find someone there but I always liked to make sure no one would sneak up and kill me.

I then texted everyone that I was home safely which led to Jude calling me. "Hey, mummy!" I heard Jeremiah say as I answered the phone, "Hey my baby how are you doing?" I smiled.

"Good, I got ice cream with Zion and Uncle David!" Jeremiah replied. "That's cool! Who are they?" I asked mainly Jude.
"One of my teammates and his kid" Jude said and I smiled,
"Making friends already?" I asked and he nodded.

"How was your flight?" Jude then asked, "Yeah it was good thanks apart from your brother asking stupid questions the whole way" I laughed and Jude rolled his eyes, "Of course, he was"

"Have you guys had dinner?" I asked and they shook their heads, "Not yet we are too much ice cream, they were massive I'll send you a picture later" Jude laughed and I nodded.
"What about you?" he asked,
"Nah not yet but I'll probably just order Chinese" I smiled and Jeremiah's eyes lit up. "I want some too!" he exclaimed making us laugh

"We've got to get going my mum is back from her nail appointment," Jude said and I nodded, "Okay bye guys, have fun!" I smiled.
"Bye, mummy I miss you!"
"Bye, JJ I'll miss you too!" I replied before saying bye to Jude.

Once the call stopped the loneliness really started to kick in, I turned the TV on to try and distract myself and order and takeaway which soon came.

I sat alone eating, before going on my phone only to see no more new messages. I wanted to invite someone around but the rest of my family was in London and my friends were both on holiday but there was someone I could call.

"Hey Xavier, want to come round?"
