Chapter 35

THE NEXT DAY
JAYLEES POV

I woke up and instantly felt sick, my morning sickness was still bad, today Jeremiah was going round to one of his friends house and I had the house to myself. I got Jeremiah ready before dropping him to his friend's house, I then decided to have a nice long bath something I hadn't have in a while. After being in the bath for a while just reflecting on what happened I decided to get out and get changed into a tracksuit.

I then went downstairs and was cleaning the house when my phone rang, I checked the caller id and saw it was Jude so I just hang up as Jeremiah was home. I sat down in the sofa when my phone called again, I saw it was Jude so I hanged up again. But before I could even put my phone down he rang again I let out a groan and answered the call.

"Couldn't you have seen I was busy from the first to times I hanged up?" I said annoyed,
"Sorry, I thought it was Jeremiah hanging up because he wanted to pay his game or something" Jude replied and I shook my head. "Well Jeremiah is at a play date sorry" I said about to hang up, "that's okay it's you I wanted to speak to" Jude said.

"Now's not the time Jude" I then said,
"Really? What are you doing?" He asked and I paused for a second, "I have someone round" I said. "Sure you do, just let me speak Jay" he said and I nodded even though he can't see me as I missed his voice. "I'm so sorry, you see I was so angry and upset, when Xavier said what he did I didn't listen to anyone, not even Jobe, I was so heartbroken" Jude spoke and I didn't even know how to reply. "I'm so pissed with myself, my mum came back from holiday and spoke with Jobe and then she told me the truth, I'm so sorry,
You deserve so much better Jay" he said the last sentence feeling like a knife to my heart.

"Maybe I do deserve better Jude... we promised no more fights" I said before hanging up the phone before throwing it across the room. Something deep down inside me wanted to say, it's okay I understand, I just want to see you again  but I knew I couldn't. He has hurt me one to many times, and when we got back Together the promise we made he had already broke.

I felt a small tear fall down my face but I quickly wiped it away as there was still a lot of cleaning I had to before Jeremiah came home. I got up and started cleaning the sink when the doorbell rang, I walked into the door and opened it to see Trent stood there with some flowers looking guilty.
"Did Jude send you here?" I snapped and he looked at me in shook, "you okay Jay?" He asked as I released my eyes were still filled with tears.
"I'm fine, what do you want?" I asked wiping my eyes, "I came to see you" Trent said and I shook my head. "I already spoke to jude, I don't need any more of this" I said and Trent looked at me confused, "what do you mean, I haven't spoke to Jude" he said.

"Seriously Jaylee, we actually got in an argument last night" Trent said and I looked up at him and thought for a second before letting him in the house. We walked through to the kitchen and I continued cleaning as Trent took a seat, "Jaylee take a break" Trent said and I shook my head as he sighed. "I'm sorry Jaylee, Jude told me it wasn't even possible you could have been pregnant with his child and I was stupid to belive him" Trent said.
"It's okay" I smiled weakly at him and he nodded,
"What did Jude say to you?" He then asked and I took a deep breath. "That's he's so sorry and how I deserve better" I replied,
"I mean he's not wrong" Trent said and I nodded.

"Jaylee please sit down, your working yourself to much" Trent said and this time I gave in as I was literally about to drop. I took at seat next to Trent and rested my head on my hand, "Do you want a drink or anything?" Trent asked.
"I should be asking you that" I said begging to stand up but he pushed me back down,
"What do you want?" He asked standing up,
"Just water please" I said gratefully and he nodded getting me a glass out.

He got me the drink and sat back down, "I got these for you by the way" Trent smiled,
"Oh you didn't have to" I smiled back.
"No it's okay I wanted to, as an apology" Trent said and I nodded,
"Thank you" I smiled giving him a hug.
"Of course" he said back, I looked at the time and saw it was almost 3 O' clock so I need to go pick up Jeremiah.

"You alright?l Trent asked and I nodded,
"I need to go pick up Jeremiah from his friends house" I said reaching for my keys.
"It's okay, I'll go" Trent said standing up,
"No Trent I can't let you do that" I replied and he shook his head, "I want to, besides you need to relax" Trent said and I smiled,
"Are you sure?" I asked and he nodded.

"Promise me you won't do any jobs when I'm gone?" He asked holding out my pinky finger,
"Promise" I laughed going to take a seat in the sofa, "I'll send you the address now thank you Trent" I replied and smiled.
I sat on the sofa and watched modern family and Trent shortly came back, "mummy!" Jeremiah exclaimed running the room. "Hey my baby did you have fun?" I said and he nodded,
"What did you do?" I asked and Trent came and sat in the sofa next to me, and I mouthed thank you. "We went to the park, and played with you animals!" He exclaimed making me smile,
"That's cool! Did you say thank you to uncle Trent for picking you up?" I asked and he shook his head sadly. "I forgot" he frowned.

"It's okay you can still say it now" I laughed a little and he nodded going to sit in Trent's lap,
"Thank you for picking me up" he smiled.
"That's okay, thank you" Trent smiled back,
"Do you want to play football with me?" Jeremiah then asked. "Yeah of course!" Trent exclaimed as Jeremiah jumped round excitedly grabbing his ball.
