~JALEES POV~

"Morning my baby" I smiled waking up as I felt someone crawl on my bed. "Mummy I'm hungry" Jeremiah replied hugging me.

"Okay I'll go get you something to eat" I said sitting up and stretching.

I walked downstairs and gave Jeremiah a brioche and got one for me too, and we sat at the kitchen island.

"you excited to go to nursery and see all your friends?" I asked him excitedly and he nodded.

"Yeah, I'm getting married!" Jeremiah cheered and I gasped, "You're getting married?"

"yeah, to Summer!" he smiled excitedly, "Oh wow! Look at you!" I said laughing and he smiled proudly.

"she's nice and shares her toys!" Jeremiah exclaimed and I smiled kissing his cheek, "She sounds like the dream you are so cute, come on you don't want to be late for your wedding!"

I grabbed all of his stuff off the house and drove to his nursery, I walked into the school and dropped him off. "have a good day my baby" I smiled and hugged him and he hugged me goodbye before running off inside.

I walked back out the gate drove home and decided to clean the house as I had the day free and didn't have to worry about Jeremiah.

I was dancing round to the music and tidying up a little bit when my phone started ringing, it was my dad.

"Hey Dad how are you?" I exclaimed, "Jaylee" My dad sighed and my heart started beating a little faster.
"What?" I asked,
"Where are you?" My dad asked firmly.

"I'm at home what is it, Dad?" I asked again playing with my earring, a thing I found myself doing when I was worried.

"It's mum" He breathed, "she died this morning."

"No, please say you're lying! The doctors said she would be fine, they promised!" I said in one breath and my dad didn't say anything.
"No" I muttered to myself before throwing my phone across the room.

~JUDES POV~

I was driving back from my mum's house when I got a phone call from Austin, "Hey bro, everything alright?" I asked answering my hands free.

"No really mate, where are you?" He stressed, "I'm driving back from my parents, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Our mum died this morning," he said his voice cracking mid-sentence, I paused for a second gathering my thoughts. "Shit! I'm sorry if there's anything you need..." I muttered not believing it.

"There is actually, could you check up on Jaylee" he sighed "Look I know you guys don't always get on and I'm sure you're busy but she needs someone to be there and I didn't know who else to call and-" Austin spoke quick and I cut him off. "It's okay Austin, I'll look after her you don't need to worry," I said reassuringly, he didn't reply and I heard him sniffing.

"well give my love to the rest of the family, stay strong my brother," I said, "yeah, thank you Jude" he cried.

"any time" I replied before Austin ended the call, I drove to Jayle's house as quickly as I could and got out of the car opening the door with the spare key.
