Chapter 15

THE NEXT MORNING

JAYLEES POV

I woke to Xavier's arms wrapped around me and I gently pushed them off, "Morning baby" he smiled,
"Good morning," I said back sitting up and seeing it was already 12 pm.

I didn't exactly regret inviting him around as I didn't feel as lonely and I slept well but something just felt so wrong about it. I didn't love him, it's a stretch to say I like him and although I enjoyed it at the time the one thing I regret now is having sex with him.

I had a bit of a headache from the alcohol so I got some paracetamol from the bedside table and took them, "You good?" Xavier asked and I nodded, "Yeah thanks, you?" I responded and he nodded.

We got out of bed and got ready before going down for food, "What would you like?" I asked Xavier and he shrugged "Whatever," he said and I nodded deciding to make bacon and eggs.

I started cooking whilst Xavier just sat on his phone on the island so I decided to play some music so I danced around cooking and soon finished. So I gave him the food but didn't get any thank you no nothing so I took the food back and placed it on the side.

"What the hell" Xavier complained and I shrugged, "I cooked for you and you didn't even say thank you" I said and he rolled his eyes, "I'm sorry babe, thank you," he said standing up and grabbing his plate. "mhm" I replied.

We finished our food and I just wanted Xavier to go now I was about to say something but he started rubbing my thigh, "Last night was good right?" he smirked, "No, last night was a mistake" I shook my head and he sighed. "It didn't seem like that when you were scr-" he started but I cut him, "Stop Xavier."

"Come on babe don't be like that" he said going to kiss me, "Xavier no!" I said pushing him away, "But why?" he asked followed by the doorbell ringing. "Just stop okay!" I shouted going to answer the door.

I opened it and to my surprise, I was greeted by Jadon, "Hey" he smiled hugging me. "Jadon, Hey," I said voice shaking a bit when I hugged him back. "You alright?" he asked looking and me and I nodded, "You just caught me by surprise that's all" I laughed and he looked at me for a few seconds before talking.

"Jude told me you had arrived back and I wanted to see you!" He said and I smiled.

"What you have been doing Today?" Jadon asked taking off his shoes and I shrugged, "Not too much" I replied not exactly knowing how to tell him my ex-boyfriend was in the other room.

"She's been busy with me" I heard Xavier say walking into the hallway, at least I didn't have to tell him.

"Oh, Xavier is here," he said looking at me and I just kinda shrugged, "Yeah and you're kinda interrupting so-" Xavier started saying. "No, he's not interrupting anything he can stay" I smiled and Xavier just gave me a dirty look.

"Don't look at her like that."Jadon said and Xavier shrugged "So what?"
I saw Jadon about to reply so I stopped him, "Let's go to the kitchen I've got some leftover food if you want" I said grabbing Jadon's arm and leading him through.

"So what you guys have been up to?" Jadon asked sitting down and Xavier smirked so Jadon looked at me in shock and I didn't know what to say it did.
"Okay, how was Madrid?" Jadon then asked me. "It was lovely! I'm sure Jeremiah is going to love staying there" I said and Jadon smiled.
