Chapter 12

After two days of training. A lot of training with Bella and Jaxon I felt ready but Bella and Jaxon didnt. They said they needed more time with me to lractise but I wanted to srick to the rules. I only knew Jaxon a couple of days but he treats me like his little sister. I liked that he would protect me but I know I could defend myself.

Cain went over the rules with me so I knew what to do. Since I had to learn more about wolf kind and find something kn my kind, Cain thought it would helo if I knew the rules out of my head. It didnt take long for me to learn the rules but some of them were stupid. Cant use magic. I dont even know magic.

Rule #1 Dont kill your opponent.

Rule #2 No outside help.

Rule #3 Dont use magic.

The list goes on and on. We would meet at the clearing at noon for the fight. They said I could backnout but I think that would just make me look weak. What kind of leader backs out of a fight cause others said to. I was done lustening to others unless its helpful.

I still get scare when I hear someonthing loud and I jump when I see a strong male but I try to stay calm. I spoke to some of the pack members and got to know them a bit when I took breaks from trianing. Bella was right when she said they wouldn't hurt me. They were all nice.

I was sitting in my room just starung at the wall. Why am I still scared? Why do I still hide when I see strangers? Questions popped into my head. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door. Bella walked in with a smile on her face. "Hey. I have a question." She said and sat next to me on the bed.

"Go ahead and ask." I said. She took a deep breath then spoke.

"Are you ready to show everyone your a werecat?" She asked. I never thought about that. It actually slipped my mind completely.

"Honestly. Im nervous they wont like me afterwards. But I know panthers are very protective over their loved ones. I mean, Im stronger than I was before." I said. Bella and I made our way to the clearing. I had to follow her cause I had no clue where it was.

Once we made it to the clearing, it looked like the entire pack was here. And thus pack consists of 600 members. I spotted Cain and standing next to him was Abigail. All my nervousness vanished the minute I saw her. "Im gonna rip her throat out." Shuri growled.

I faced her and she just had a stupid grin on her face. Did she really think she will beat me. "The rules are simple. First one to back down loses. You will fight in your wolf form. Dont kill your opponent." Cain announced. Scarlet and I went in opposite direction so we could shift.

I undressed and shifted. I jumped into one of the trees and waited for Abigail to walk out first. When she did, I got a chance to see her wolf. She had brown fur and her eyes were a dark brown. She rubbed her head against Cain's leg and I didnt hold back. I let out a smalk roar which caught everyone's attention. I jumped out of the tree and walked towards Abigail. She looked shocked and I heard some gasp.

Abigail took two steps back when I stopped in front of her and Cain. I was only eight feet tall while Abigail stood ten feet tall but I wasn't scared. She growled and I let out a loud roar. Everyone around me had theur heads bowed and Abigail tried to hide her whimper but I heard it. So did everyone else cause they were whispering to each other.

Cain stood in front of me and faced Abigail. "Abigail. If you are affected by Elara's power she is giving off then you know you cant fight her. Are you still willing to do this?" Cain asked. Abigail looked at me and I growled. I could see she was fighting her wolf. Her wolf wanted to stand down but she didn't.

She stood to her full height and growled. Her blue eyes were showing, indicating her wolf didnt want to fight me. I let Shuri take control cause I knew she would forcefully take over as soon as the fight started. Cain stepped back and Abigail tried to circle me. Shuri copied her movements.

Cain yelled to start and Abigail attacked first. Shuri caught Abigail midair by the throat. This will be quick. I thought to myself. Shuri held tight onto Abigail's neck and made sure she couldnt kick us off. The taste of blood was in my mouth and I knew she was bleed.

Abigail still fought to break free but failed miserably. Everyone looked at us concerned. If she didn't give up now Shuri's hold will kill her. "Abigail just give up!" I heard Jaxon yell.

Shuri, she is going to die. You cant kill her. I said. Abigail still refused to give up but her kicks were getting weak. "She hasn't giving up yet." Shuri protested.

Shuri. Let her go NOW! I said. I took control and let Abigail go. I heard her gasp for her. She stayed on the ground unable to move. She just stayed there. "Abigail!" A woman screamed and wanted to run to her. I growled making her stay put. I walked to Abigail and her wounds were taking long to heal.

I gave Abigail a warning growl. She finally whimpered in pain. That was it. I won. I licked Abigails wounds then walked away. I went behind the tree and shifted back. I put my clothes on then walked back out. Abigail was sitting up right with a blanket around her. Her neck wounds were almost fully healed.

"We have our winner!" Jaxon announced and put me on his shoulders. Everyone cheered for me and I couldn't help but smile. Abigail's mom helped her back to the house and Jaxon carried me on his shoulders.

When we got back to the house Cain hugged me. "You were so strong." He said. Everyone congratulated me and said my panther was amazing. Some even said they loved her. I guess being different isnt bad after all.

"Its not. Lets just be ourselves from now on." Shuri said.
