Im not safe. I never will be. Alpha always said no mattsr what he will always find me. And punish me. Just like when I fought back. I kicked one of the guards and they went flying into three more and hit a tree. Four more chargeed at me in their wolf for and J jumped on one of their backs. They tried to swing me off but I held tight. I pulled their fur and they landed on the ground.

My chance to escape was close. I felt a prick in my neck. My body went numb and Alpha picked me up. "Guess we have to teach you a lesson." He said. We? He took me back into the house and the guards I fought followed. I was chained to the wall and got whipped, cut, kicked punched.

I didn't make a sound. Didnt whimper. Didn't cry. It made them more mad and continued. I felt a bone break but I ignored it. Alpha lifted my chin and made me look at him. "You will learn soon. Always listen to your Alpha." He said. J dont know why I tried to fight my way out. I was out of my mind but I still fought. That night I prayed to the moon goddess to just end my suffering and kill me. But everyday, I woke in this hell hole.

"Your not leaving Elara. Thats not a plan." Fiona said. Everyone started making excuses to why it was a bad idea and I shouldnt do it. Cain just looked at me with sadness in his eyes. I knew he wouldnt like the plan but it was better than nothing.

"Lets end the meeting here. We will discuss what we will do tomorrow. Lets deal with the hunters first." Aria said. She stood up and left. The others followed behind her while Cain and I stayed back. Cain sat next to me and sighed.

"Your not leaving Elara. We can figure something out. I dont want to lose you. I already couldn't protect you when you were with him, I want to make up for that." Cain said.

"Cain what happened then wasn't your fault. My other plan was for me to go there and just fight them. That wouldn't work so I thought leaving would keep everyone safe." I said. Cain pulled me onto his lap and kissed me.

"Those plans are dumb. But for now, you are staying here. I will make sure you dontget hurt ever again." Cain said. I smiled and kissed Cain.

After our meeting, Aria and I set out with the girls to find the hunters. We found nothing so far but we had to keep looking. "Sense anything yet?" I asked Aria.

"Nope." She said. I jumped into a tree hoping to see something. A sign that we were close. A bush rustled and I saw a gun tip point out. I jumped out of the tree and landed next to Aria.

"They're over there." I said. We made our way to the hunters and they had a camp site. How did we not see this sooner? I walked towards them and when they saw me they screamed. "Wait! We just want to talk." I said. They looked scared and confused. I mean, whats the possibility you come across a big talking panther.

Aria and the girls walked out and stood next to me. "You beasts want to talk." Emma growled at the womans comment. I gave Emma a look and she stopped.

"We are just animals. We want to make a deal with you hunters." Aria said. They looked at us and they looked confused. A buff male walked out from one of the tents. He had a scar across his left eye. He walked towards us and I noticed his hand rested on his gun.

"What kind of deal?" He asked. His voice was deep. The girls and I sat down showing we wont attack. I looked at the gun then back to the hunter. He took out his gun and threw it one side.

"We want you to leave us alone. We would like to know what you want in return." Aria said. The hunter scoffed.

"Look. We want to live a normal life. Not like yours. Just say what you want and you will get it." I added. I looked at the other hunters and they looked scared. They had their weapons ready. This made Emma, Bella, Jasiri and Heidi stand up. The hunter looked at them then back at me.

"They want to protect us. Your friends over there look ready to fight." I stated. He looked behind him to see if I was speaking the truth.

"Put your weapons down." The hunter said. They put their weapons down and turned back to us. "You can shift back. I know your shifters." He said. We all were shocked. He knew. Aria and I shifted back and the hunter looked at us. "Two beautiful girls. What? The males to chicken to do the talking?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"Just say what you want." I growled. Aria calmed me down. I wanted to get this over with.

"We want revenge." He said. Revenge? For what? "Your kind killed our families. We wont stop until your all dead." He said. It started to get cold and snow fell. "Whats going on?" The hunter asked. We looked at Aria.

Her hands were glowing white and her eyes were a ice blue colour. "You want revenge on us, yet you humans started this war. Just move on. Or I can get rid of every last human here. We want to be left alone." She said.

The hunters got their weapons and pointed it at us. Aria shifted and I was about to when I got and idea. "Wait. I know a way you can get your revenge." I said. The hunter lowered his weapon and Aria stopped the snow.

"Which is?" He asked.

"We have a problem with a pack called blood cove. We... I want them dead." I started.

"Continue."

"What if you help us get rid of them. That way, you get to kill wolves and that pack will be gone forever. But you have to leave the rest of us alone." I said. The hunter went silent.

"Do you really think he will help us?" Shuri questioned.

Nope. But he wants to kill wolves. He is also determined so why not join sides and take care of the real threat. I told her.

"If we agree to help you, you and the other wolves wont bother us humans?" He asked.

"As long as you dont bother us." I said. He held his hand out and we shook on it.

"The names Llyod Vanderbilt." He introduced himself.

"Elara."

"We should take them to Danté and Cain. We're going to have them talk now." Aria said. I agreed with her. "Follow us."

I stayed in human form. The hunters got their things and followed us. Emma and Jasiri walked behind them while Bella and Heidi walked on the side. Aria and I lead them to the house. When we got there, some of the pack members growled at the hunters.

The girls shifted back and Danté and Cain walked towards us. "What are they doing here?" Cain growled. I walked to him and calmed him down. The hunters looked worried and held their weapons.

"They are going to help us. We made a deal. They are gonna help us fight Blood cove as long as they get to kill those wolves. In return, they leave us and we leave them. We pretend nothing ever happened?" I announce for everyone to hear.

I looked at the hunters and Llyod spoke. "Yes. That is the deal. I would like to know what the plan is. We are now working together." Cain gestured for him to follow and we all went back to the meeting room.
