Chapter 14

Elara's pov

I went outside to enjoy the sun but something was off. Not just in the wood but with Shuri too. She has been silent since the fight yesterday. I tried asking her but she stayed silent. Something rudtled in the trees and it caught my attention. Someone's out there. I thought to myself. I was about to go investigate but Emma walked up to me.

I met Emma during on of the training sessions and she was a fun person. She was also griends with Bella and she hung out with me whenever the others werent around. "Hey. Wanna go to the game room. Stan, Joshua and Andy is there too." She said. I looked out to the woods again.

"Sure. Why not?" I said. We went to the gaming room and Andy and Joshua were playing on the xbox while Stan was cgeering for Andy. Andy and Jishua were mates and Emma and Stan were mates. They were all adorable but Bella always told me she felt like a third wheel. Bella didnt find her mate yet and she felt lonely.

I played chess with Emma and she failed to win everytime. We all had fun until Bella walked in. She looked tired and angry. I could see worry too but she stayed silent. "Bells are you okay?" Stan asked. She looked at me and finally spoke.

"Ela. Come with me." She said. I got up and finished the game by moving my piece. Emma loked shocked when she saw that I won again. I followed Bella down the hall and into Cain's office. I haven't seen Cain since the fight with Abigail and I gasped when I saw him.

Cain looked just like Bella but worse. I noticed his eyes were black. "Elara. What did that asshole do to you?" He asked in a growl. He was talking about Alpha Luke. I stayed quiet when he asked me that. I didnt want to tell him. He would be mad and I didnt want him to be mad. "Answer me Elara!" He yelled and I took a step back.

"It doesnt matter. Im here now. I dont want to dwell in the past." I said. Jaxon and Bella stepped aside and Cain walked towards me. I stepped back until I hit the wall. This brought back horrible memories.

"Your pathic." Kicks. "I said you had to make dinner but your sitting here doing nothing." Punch.

"You useless piece of trash." He pinned me against the wall and held me by my throat. "Be lucky I didnt put you in the closet." He said and threw me on the ground.

I looked at Cain and tears welled in my eyes. Cain's expression softened when he noticed and his eyes went back to normal. "Elara Im sorry." I flinched when he tried to touch me and I could see that hurt his feelings.

I avoided looking at him and stared at the ground. Bella and Jaxon left the room not wanting to interfere. Cain lifted my head uo so I had to look at him. "Im sorry. I didnt mean to scare you. I just want to know if its true." He said. I looked at him confused. If what was true?

"If what is true?" I asked. He took a step back and sighed.

"Did Alpha Luke abuse you? Hit you? Kicked you? Whipped you? Torture you? Did he allow all his pack member to do the same?" He asked. All the memories of that happeni g came flooding back. I sat on the ground and the tears rolled down my eyes. All that pain.

"Elara." I heard Cain call out but the sound around me faded. The feeling of being punched, kicked, slapped, whipped. It all came back. Being trapped for days in a dark empty closet. "Elara." Being burned with an metal plate. "Elara!" Being chained to a wall. "Elara!"

"Everyone! The girl ran outside. Lets teach her a lesson." Brandon said. Everyone ganged up on me and started to attack me. Punching kicking and pulling my hair. I called for hell but no one came to rescue me.

"You've been a bad girl. You shouldn't have run away." Alpha said. He pulled me by my hair and dragged me to the closet.

"No! Im sorry. I wont do it again please no!" I begged and pleaded. He didnt listen and threw me intk the closet. Before I could try and escape he locked the door. I cried out to let me out but he walked away. I heard him laugh as he walked away. That was the last time I cried.

How can someone do this to a seven year old girl.

Cain held me close trying to snap me out of it. Nothing was working. Bella and Jaxon was in front of me trying to helo but the memories wouldnt stop. The tears were streaming like a river with a strong current. I just wanted everything to stop.

2 years ago

I sat in the corner of my room. My body was aching from th whip. I didnt cry. I sat there silently. My eoom door opened and alpha walked in. I stood up and looked at the ground. The smell of alcohol reached my nose. No no no.

Alpha locked the room door and slipped the keys into his pocket. He walked closer to me and pinned me against the wall and started kissing my neck. I tried to push him off but he used his alpha strength. "If you fight me, Im going to kill you." He said.

I froze and he undressed me. My tears slipped and he threw me onto my broken mattress and did what he wanted. I silently cried as he fuck me. I held back my moans and screams. It hurt. I tried to stop him butheld my hands above my head.

I felt scared and angry that I screamed in anger.

I growled then roared. Bella and Jaxon took a step back as I jumped out of Cains hold and backed up into a corner. I brought my knees up to my chest and hid my face. I felt a pair of hands gently grab my hands.

I looked up to see a worried Cain. Jaxon and Bella stood behind him. "Baby its okay. You dont have to say anything. Im so sorry." Cain said and pulled me onto his lap. I wanted Luke to suffer. I wanted to him to feel the pain I did.

"He raped me." I said so softly they didnt hear me.

"Elara speak up. Whatever you need we will get it and we will help you." Jaxon said.

I burried my face into Cain's chest and spoke louder. "He raped me." I said. They all growled but Cain was louder. He held me tight and Bella left the room. A door slammed shut but Bella ran downstairs. She must've ran outside.

"Jaxon. Send someone to watch Blood cove. Make sure we know their every move. They will stay in their pack." Cain growled. Jaxon left the room and Cain cariried me to his bedroom. He placed me on the bed and sat next to me.

"Im not mad and dont worry. He wont lay another hand on you ever again." He layed next to me and I felt so tired. I closed my eys and fell asleep.
