Chapter 15

Cain's pov

Elara had a mental breakdown and it was all my fault. I was srupid to make her tell me what they did to her. I wanted to rip that alpha into pieces and Tyson agreed with me. After Elara fell asleep I went lutside for a run so I could blow off some steam. I undressed and shifted into my wolf. I took off running at full speed.

I ran pass everyone I came across and ran to the open field on the kther end of my territory. I slowed down as I got closer to the clearing. I sat down and stared at the view in front of me. I always come here ehen I want to calm down or blow of some steam.

Something about this place always kept me calm. Now I have Elara too. I should bring her here when I know it safe and the hunters wont try and find us again. I didn't realise how long I was out here until I noticed the sun was setting.

I made my way back to the house anf on my way there I noticed someone in the trees. There wasnt a scent. "Intruder!" Tyson growled. I crept up to the tree and the guy climbed down. He was just about to turn around and I pounced on him. He stayed down under my feet and a few warriors ran towards me. Bella came running out of the woods and froze on her spot.

The guy under my feet growled and managed to free himself. He looked at Bella and she had tears in her eyes. "Mate." The guy said. Wait, what? I went back to get my clothes. I shifted and got dressed. I walked out and Bella was huggung her mate. I walked up to them and the others walked away.

"Who are you?" I asked in my Alpha tone. The guy was almost as tall as me.

"Im..." He stopped. I waited for him to answer but he stayed silent. He thought about what he was goung to say. "Im Cole." He said. "I dont trust him." Tyson commented. I agreed with him.

"Why were you hiding in a tree?" I asked. He stayed silent not knowing what to say. I was running out of patients.

"Cain!" I looked to see Elara. She smiled then it dropped. She looked at Cole and her panther took over. Shuri ran towards us and shifted as she jumoed on Cole.

"Shuri no." Bella said. Shuri looked like she was a wild animal. Her eyes were as thin as a twig and she was growling non-stop. "She knows something we dont." Tyson said.

Blood cove!

"Cole, where did you come from? Answer me now!" I said in my alpha tone. Bella was sad but I had to know if my accusation was right. Cole sighrd and Shuri got closer to bite his neck and he started to panic.

"Im the beta of blodd cove." He said in a panic. Bella looked shocked and hurt. I knew it.

"Bella go inside. Shuri. Let him go. We need him alive." I said. Shuri stayed on top of him. Her claws extended and dug into his skin. "Shuri!" I called out. She got off of him and stood behind me. Ole stood up and Shuri growled.

"Listen. I wont harm you." Cole said looking at Shuri. She growled and slowly approached him. Cole slowly back away. "Im serious Elara. Im not gonna hurt you." Cole said and started running.

Shuri somehow made it in front of him. He was scared of her and she seemed to enjoy scaring him. "Enough! Follow me." I said. Cole folowed behind me and Shuri behind him. She didnt even shift back and didnt let Elara take control. She must be scared.

We walked into the house and everyone stared at us. I wouldn't blame them. Who wouldn't stare if their luna, who is a panther stayed in her panther form for a guy that showed up out of nowhere. Bella followed behind us and so did my parents. We went to my office and my mom closed the door behind her. I sat by my desk and Cole stood in front of me.

Shuri sat next to the desk and she seemed ready to attack him. "Why were you spying on my pack?" I asked. Bella looked disappointed and sad. This guy is her mate after all. I wouldn't blame her.

"I was sent here to..." he loooked at Shuri and she let out a low growl. "To keep an eye on Elara." He said. Tyson threatened to come out and Shuri stalked closer to Cole. Bella stood in front of Cole and Shuri gave a warning growl.

"Shuri. I dont know whatvhe did to you and Elara but please give him a chance." Bella begged. I was stunned. Bella never acted this way. Shuri stood in her full height and she looked intimidating.

"Cole was the one who whipped us. He did it without hesitation!" Shuri growled. She just spoke! We all stared shocked at what just happened. "If it were up to me, he would be dead." Shuri said. Her voice was deeper than Elara's. It was some what a dominating voice.

"Then let Elara speak." Bella said.

"I would love too but she is to scared to even speak to me. Bella, step aside. Cole needs to die." Shuri said. She sounded cruel.

"No!" Bella yelled. Shuri stepped back and sighed. Her ears perked up and she jumped behind my seat.

"Shuri. What are you doing?" I asked. I turned and She shifted back. "Get her some clothes." I said. My mom walked out and in seconds she came back with a dress. Elara put the dress on and stood up. She walked to Cole and looked at him.

She took a deep breath before she spoke. "Cole. Leave." She said.

"What? No! Ela please." Bella begged.

"Bella." My mom tried to comfort her.

"No. His my mate. Elara please dont make him leave." Bella pleaded.

"He has to. Or else Luke will suspect something." She said. She looked at Bella then back at Cole. "So your going to be my spy." She said.

"What?" Cole asked confused.

"Your going to do whatever you have to. Only we will know your here. You can still be with Bella. When you go back to Luke you tell him what he wants to hear then you tell us his plan. Like a double agent." Elara said.

"Thats not a bad idea. But if you betray us, then..." I stopped when I looked at Bella. I couldn't finish that sentence.

"Then your fate is in my hands." Elara said. No. It was Shuri. Cole nodded and Bella hugged her mate. Lets hope this plan works.
