"Wake up bitch it's Thanksgiving!" Isabella screeched, jolting me awake.
"Isabella!" I shouted at her angrily, right before another pillow hit me square in the face.
I give her a death glare as she bit back a giggle. I jump at her and she squealed before running out the room with me chasing right behind her.
"Abuelita save me!" She yells, and right before we could step in the kitchen Abuelita points a spoon towards us. Isabella immediately stops, and I run into her back.
"Ow!" Isabella yells as she jolts forward.
"Served you right," I glared at her as she gives me a look.
"Why can't we go in the kitchen?" She asks as Abuelita turns to the stove.
"Because we're cooking," Tia answers, Isabella crosses her arms.
"We're seventeen, not seven," Isabella points out and I nod in agreement, the two adults gave us a pointed look.
"Here's your breakfast," Tia handed us a plate with a cup of orange juice.
"What time will the food be ready?" I asked out of curiosity, Abuelita looks at us from over her shoulder.
"Around 8pm," She answers, My jaw drops as Isabella chokes on her bacon.
"8pm?!" We both exclaim insync, Abuelita rolls her eyes.
"Yes, drama queens. Now leave and let us cook," I frown.
"Well, I'm going to go over to Kammy's for a few, she invited me over for Thanksgiving," I explained, Isabella gives me a confused look.
"As long as you're back before dinner I don't mind, also save some room in that tummy of yours," Abuelita says, I nod before looking at Isabella.
"You can come too, I'll just ask Kammy if it's alright with her parents," I told her, she shuffles uncomfortably.
"It's fine, I'll stay here," She says, I tilt my head.
"Are you sure?-"
"Isn't Kammy the little sister of that handsome boy, Kayson?" Tia asked, I nod as Isabella snaps her gaze to her, before looking at me.
"On second thought, I'll gladly go with you," I smile as she rushes off upstairs.
I ended up texting Kammy to ask if it was okay with her parents if Isabella comes over, and she says they're okay with it.
For the next few hours Isabella and I spent getting ready. While she's doing her hair, I'm thinking of what to wear before taking a shower.
I decided to wear a forest green corduroy overall dress, a see through black undershirt, black stockings, and black combat boots.
