The next morning I woke up early enough, so I'm definitely leaving this house on time.
Since I'll be bringing an extra person with me today, I don't think he'll appreciate it if I made him late on his first day.
Especially if he still hasn't warmed up to me yet.
I decided to wear a oversized white sweatshirt, grey baggy cargo pants, and white air forces. I throw my braids into a high messy bun with a scarf to secure my edges while I do my makeup.
After I finish my makeup I carefully take my scarf off before getting up. I make sure I have everything in my backpack and dance bag before leaving my room.
I jog downstairs and take an apple from the kitchen before leaving the house.
I waved at Roger while he gave me a shocked confused look. I stop in front of the driver's window while he rolled it down.
"What's the occasion?" He questioned, I giggled.
"I'm taking our new neighbor's son to school today, his Mom insists," I explain, Roger nodded.
"I'll be back," I tell him before walking to the front gate.
I wait in the front until I see a familiar blond haired blue eyed boy leave out his front door. When he sees me he almost seemed disappointed and he frowned deeply as he crossed the street.
"Good morning, Neighbor," I smile brightly, he rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"What? Forgot my name already?" He muttered, I was taken aback.
Someone isn't a morning person. Well, I'm not either, but I still don't take it out on others.
"No, I remember your name, Parker," I said, he just looks away.
"My driver is waiting inside, follow me," I nod for him to follow me up the driveway. I open the back seat door for him and he gives me a look before getting in, I slide in after him.
"Parker, this is my personal driver Roger, Roger this is my new friend Parker," I beam, Roger smiles at him through the review mirror.
"We're not friends," Parker grumbles, my smile dropped.
Oh, fine then.
The rest of the ride was filled with an uncomfortable silence.
When Roger parks in front of the school Parker immediately gets out. I thank Roger and close the door before following a good distance behind Parker.
Suddenly, he stops in front of the door and his shoulder slumped in a sigh.
I stop beside him.
"Want me to show you to the office?" I questioned, he looks down at me with a hard look before looking away.
