The next morning we woke up bright and early to get ready to meet Azura's family. First we were going to take her out to breakfast and to build a bear, she saw an ad and has been asking about it the entire time they were in France.

I try not to cry as I pull my curly hair up into a high ponytail, stubborn strands framing my face. Kayson walks behind me and smiles softly through the mirror.

"She'll be safer," He assured, I nodded, biting my bottom lip.

"I know, but it still makes me sad. I'll miss her," I muttered.

"I'll miss that annoying brat too," He said, he smile softly at him.

"Ready?" He questioned, I take a deep breath.

"Yes."

Later

"Bella," Azura tilted her head to the side, "Why do you look so sad?" She asked, stabbing into her pancake with a fork. I smiled.

"I'm happy," I stated, taking a bite out of my bacon.

"Are you sure?" She questioned, I nodded.

"Kayson, are you happy?" She asked, looking at him. He nodded.

"Yes." He stated, staring at her.

"Then why aren't you smiling either?" I giggled as Kayson still stared at her with a blank look.

"He's the happiest he can be," I patted his broad shoulder.

"Do you guys think they're nice people?"

"They came all this way to see you Zura, and your brothers seem to miss you a lot," I explained, she smiled softly.

"What if...What if I don't want to go?" She looks through us with her big dark green eyes, I keep a soft smile on my face.

"You'll be safer Zura, and you can call us everyday," She looks down at her plate.

"I'm safer with you guys," She muttered quietly.

"Not really kid, being with your family would be 10 times more safer than being here with a bunch of teens," Kayson explained, Azura looks up at him, not convinced.

"But there's still so much for you to teach me! I don't know everything you know," She frowned, harshly putting her fork down and crossing her arms.

"I can still teach you from afar," He said, Azura shakes her head and sinks further into her seat.

Kayson looks at me and I shrug, he sighs.
